Who's your favorite and least favorite character?

Well, first off, I'm new here. How y'all doin'?

Now that I feel satisfied that I gave a little introduction, I would like to know character popularity around the forums. I'm sure this has been done many times before, but I'd like to know the favorites, and least favorites in this forum. There are many interesting, beautiful characters in Katawa Shoujo, so I'd like to know the favorites of you guys and maybe, I'll get to know you all better! I think you get the picture. So who's your favorite character in Katawa Shoujo?

Mine is Hanako. I think her route was the most heart-warming/depressing rout out of them all. (Although I have yet to do Rin's.) Her story is the saddest thing I've ever read and it makes me feel sympathetic towards her, despite her being a fictional character. I love her personality, even if she doesn't show much and tends to be very shy and conceals herself. But when you get her to warm up to you and make her smile, it's a very nice feeling and it makes you feel like you've accomplished something. And despite the horrible scaring on her face and body, I think she is the cutest girl in the story. (Runner up being Emi) If I had to choose another, I'd choose Lilly. She's a beautiful character, and her story is almost just as heart-warming as Hanako's. I also like how she turns into a little alcoholic; something I'd never expect from her.

As for least favorite, I'd have to say Shizune. She can be a really good character, but playing throughout her route, I've come to think of her as an annoying bitch. I grew to her and realized how cute and playful she can be, but she is definitely my least favorite. Her route was also the most boring in my opinion.

So those are my favorite and least favorite. What are yours?

Hanako is of course my favorite. For obvious reasons. I know how it feels to be picked on, and nervous around other people.

Least favorite is Kenji. So far all his scenes have just gotten on my damn nerves and I tend to click rapidly through his scenes. What is he even doing at the school anyway? Doesn't seem as if he even goes to class.

Well, I obviously agree with you with Hanako. But Kenji can be like a comic relief to the intense moments of the story. Don't get me wrong, he's an annoying ass, but his scenes can be funny and light hearted. I often skip them to, but since I've been playing for a few days, I've grown to him. I also feel really bad for him. I'm glad Hisao even puts up with him. Kenji needs a friend.

But since I wasn't counting side characters on my own part, I picked Shizune. But if I was, I'd pick Kenji as well.

I have the same favorites and least favorite. Well Least fav is tied between Nomiya and Jigoro.

Hate on Lilly? I'm not sure what you mean, "thanks to this very forum". I haven't been here long enough to get it. But I love Lilly. I see nothing about her that can be hated. But I guess people are entitled to their own opinions.

Favorite? Torn between Emi and Rin, but then again those are the only arcs I've gone through.
And if I was Mutou I would punch Nomiya in the Teacher's Lounge. My prize for least favorite is always a punch.

One, because she doesn't have a disability so it wouldn't be very traditional, and for another reason that I'm obviously not saying just in case people haven't completed Shizune's route.

On how much of a total asshat he is? Oooh yeah. I got the same feeling for Nomiya as I did for Jigoro "Oh this guy is probably going to be cool". However, he didn't prove his asshat-ness until much later than Jigoro did XD

I know where you're going with this. However, it is widely assumed (and I think confirmed by the devs as well) that Misha is bi-sexual. (I tend to agree with this belief as well)

Her disability is a verbal tic where her orgasms are announced beforehand by a loud "WAHAHAHA~!".
