Thoughts on the H-scenes?

At least the ones that I've seen). I totally appreciate that, because it's so easy to let that be the mindless goal of stupid dating sims (which to me, is most if not all of them). In KS, the sex scenes weren't the goal or reward in and of themselves, though they coincided and coexisted with the desired goal-- to achieve a happy and successful relationship with the girl in question. The story makes you want that more than the sex. I think that's really what sets KS apart from other shitty dating sims.

I kind of hold dating sims in the same regard that I hold sports games, Guitar Hero/Rock Band, and CoD-- If you want a real-ass experience, get out into real life and experience it for yourself. Most dating sims that I've seen/played don't really care so much about telling a nice story as they seem to care about getting the player to sex scenes or otherwise just exploiting tropes/fanservice in general. (I guess in that regard KS really does have that more narrative quality to it, then. I'll still call it both, though. :I )

If there are more Katawa Shoujos out there, I'd love to know some of them. :0

While it's very uncomfortable to talk about masturbating out in the open, I feel that it's sort of an exception here. I would never masturbate to this game. Just thinking about it kinda makes me uncomfortable... But yeah, the scenes aren't really sexy in the way full fledged porn is. It feels like more then that. It feels... right. Yeah I know what you mean when you say the H-scenes are different than porn. It doesn't feel naughty because I don't think they were made to get people to jack off, I think they were made to show the love the characters had for each other. I don't view this game in any sexual way at all.

But yeah before playing Ks, I think I had a very unhealthy sex drive, it skewed my view on women and I was fapping to pretty weird things at the end of the day.
