personally, i think Katawa Shoujo skirts the line on eroge. there's only a couple sex scenes per story line (hell, Hanako's only had 1) and most are not too explicit (once again only Hanako's do you actually see her crotch). And i wouldn't be too sure about Hanako being your favorite (though she seems to be a large chunk of people's) until you finish all the routes. Rin personally i also decided was my favorite after i went through her route the first time, but i at least only kind of did so until after i did all the routes.

I remember my first time beating Katawa Shoujo.


It was like the first time I beat Street Fighter II when I was a little kid without using Game Genie cheats or pressing "Player 2 Start" to advance through the game to defeat M. Bison with Ryu and his ending gave me so many feels.

ill be completely honest with you. the only reason i even looked up Katawa Shoujo was that i had just beaten the first part of Monmusu Quest (the second part was still being translated) and was looking for a fetish game.

although it had a deep story and Rin is probably one of my favorite heroines in any game in general, i still wonder what if this was a fetish game and not a novel.
