Is there any chance we could get some summaries of the larger scrapped story arcs and such, now that the game has been released?
And excuse my newfriendlyness, but isn't there a subforum only visible to devs where a lot of these types of things are posted? If so, would it be hard to set it so that anyone can view it?

First off, thank you so much for the work that went into this (you broke 4chan ffs)

Few questions

1. Hanakos ending, while I understand was a bit short, people seem to be getting misconceptions about Hanako's state at the end of the game. Some think she is better off at the end of Lilly's story where she is seen independant. I know that Lilly's route ends not only later than Hanako's but with her in different circumstances to develop, but had you known this misconception would have arisen would Hanako's epilogue have been given a Lilly style post-credits scene? I for one would have loved it (She was my favourite by a hair over Lilly).

2. Why was Emi the only one who got 2 FMVs?

3. Lilly + Lee Sin, the Blind Monk (League of Legends), has been popping up in threads discussing this, what's your take?

4. Did you intentionally make Hisao into a total DICK at the worst points for plot conveience, an example being the post h-scene with Hanako in the morning after, I was watching for him to say it but he does the WORST possible thing...(still, glad the route ended with the park CG). Another example being Rin's route "I dunno", you know the bit.

And a general comment or two

Great stuff trying to express Lilly's view toward Hisao through the raunchier scenes, it REALLY takes a different spin on things to what people would have thought, "See as I see" and yes I mean things like the blindfold scene. It's came across well enough to be all about the emotion going on. Hanako's bad end was perhaps the most heart crushing scene in the entire game, it actually felt like she was more berating the PLAYER than Hisao...

All in all, great work.

I suppose that no words of mine can stand next to the sense of accomplishment that you surely must feel for finishing this wonderful project. Nevertheless, I feel the need to voice my gratitude for Katawa Shoujo to you.

My KS experience was not limited to the hours of actual playing time but also encompass this very forum, the blog, the art that has been published on this site, yet perhaps most importantly, the time you made me think about this little world you tried to bring to life. Consequently, I want to thank you for making me care and allowing other to do so as well.

The topic has been rarely brought up, but I believe this to be an occasion where it might be necessary. I want you to know that I did give to charity with Katawa Shoujo in mind. I won’t tell any numbers or organizations because it would degenerate the message I trying to convey. You have caused an effect – a beneficial one I might say.

If there were a stage where all of 4Leaf Studios and whoever contributed meaningfully would bow to their audience I would throw a rose on it while slowly clapping savouring all the delightful memories I can recall.

It set a precedent. The devs are willing and able to put story elements after the credits, with a very large amount of time in between them.

Do you mean chronologically (for example, X amount of days after the game begins) or comparatively (for example, at the very end of a route). The latter is acceptable, the former... much less so.

I don't see the problem with that.

Some of us do. Mostly because there appears to be potential for Hanako to be made happier than she ends up in Lilly's route, but this is never actually realized.
