I've seen this picture floating around the internet: http://i.imgur.com/9JeSr.jpg

And I'm wondering about the source. I know part of the picture was released on Jan 4th along with the main game, but that version did not have this quote. Tvtropes is saying that this picture, including the quote, is from the KSdevs, although attempting to google for the quote in it's entirety gives results that point to /v/ as the source of the quote within. Would it be possible to confirm either way if the message was indeed from the KSdevs, or if it was instead likely an eloquent member of Anonymous who came up with that quote, which was later photoshopped into the picture?
The message is not from any developers of Katawa Shoujo. It's made by someone on 4chan.

A million other questions I could ask, but that one bothers me so I'm asking it.
She's flexible enough to brush it herself.
<Aura> would you squeeze a warm PVC bottle between your thighs and call it "manaka-chan"
<Suriko> I would do it if it wouldn't be so hard to explain to my parents

What inspired you to create Rin? Her personality is very complex and I have rarely found a connection to a fictional character as I did during her path. Are there glimmers of other fictional characters (or perhaps real people?) in her personality? Or was she an entirely original character.
Of course there are influences from outside in Rin (there's nothing truly original), but she's not modeled after anyone or anything.

To date, Emi's path is the most complete work of long fiction I've ever written. Which is depressing on one hand but also gives me the motivation to write other stuff too, otherwise I'm going to be haunted by that bloody storage shed for the rest of my life.
I suppose thats always a good reason to do something.

I dont see why people make such a deal out of Emi having had sex before or not.
Who made the bet ? Im guessing the bet was along the lines of "$5 says you wont put an anal scene in".
Just the storage shed haunts you ? Nothing lemon scented. (Personally I found it pretty funny. That face).

don't have anything to do on weekends anymore and have to force myself to play video games
Some people on /v/ know that feel.

How was it working in different timezones ? I know there are atleast 2 Australians, 1 Italian, and a person from Finland. Im guessing there are some Americans too. Must have been annoying trying to get multiple people on, or did you just do your own thing before sending it to someone else ?

Also the name is apparently controversial in Japan. Why keep the name ?

I just read about Rika Katayama and Saki Enomoto, they are really something, especially Saki's story would turn out into a really drammatic story....did you ever had the temptation of putting them really in the game? Maybe a future project?

Suriko, in Lilly's path Haiso has more issues with his heart than any other. Is this because:

a) Lilly leads a sedentary life and therefore Haiso does nothing/little to improve his condition i.e. it came about due to the fiction

b) You wanted to make use of his condition for dramatic purposes

c) Other

Just out of curiosity, how old are you developers?

I've heard the youngest was 14 when they joined. Going through 14 to 19 worrying about this game's progression all along seems like a great achievement.
I hope it's not asking too much personal information, just would be nice to see how you might have grown during these 5 years.

How much of the game was already completed when you released the Act 1 demo?
Also why the character design change for Yuuko?

What was the method that delta used to compress "ltrni.png"? Can this method be applied universally to any unicorn... I mean, to any PNG-file to achieve better compression ratio? And most importantly, would delta be willing to share the details of this method?

I'm of course referencing this blog post from 2010:

I just wanted to show Hisao's disability as much as the heroine's.

Most of the path first drafts were complete. Afterwards all the paths were rewritten, though.

Yuuko was changed to bring her more in line with the art style of the other characters.

There were a few, but it was mainly ImageOptim. http://imageoptim.pornel.net/

It essentially strips PNG files of all unused metadata.

TheHivemind wrote:It also gave me a way to perhaps address some larger concerns with the way these stories go, so I made a few alterations to the formula and had ... a heroine whose chastity is called into question (is she? isn't she? The answer's not important, the question (and why some people are tearing their hair out over it) is the important thing).
In that case, do you think that people calling Emi a "slut" is a reasonable and justified reaction? Is it a matter of perspective?

Or did you intend from the start to upset insecure control freaks?

I don't actually think this question already got answered, so i will post it:
How do Hanako manage to pay up the Yamaku Academy ? Does she have any job? Anyone pays it for her?
