Re: Your first ending?
Mine was Emi's good ending via the Instant Replay scene - gotta say, it impressed the hell out of me. Second was...hrm...I believe the second one wound up being Shizune good ending, then came Hanako good ending and then Lilly good ending,... And then I died...a LOT...trying to get on Rin's route. :P...

Re: Forgetting about the 'Katawa' part
I've never done either because I'm hopelessly defective, but I'm sure it happens... (forenote: if this quote was done in a joking manner please ignore me, I just know too many people who really think that) it might be that I am still high on feels considering I am pretty new, but after seeing the m...

Re: Does your favourite heroine reflect yourself?
Actually no. If I were completely honest with myself, I'd say I relate a lot more to Hisao in Rin's arc (except for his 'I just don't get art' part. It's the opposite for me - I tend to see art even where there might not be any) rather than to Rin herself... ...but she does reflect someone I know......

Re: What hurts the most?
I honestly thought, during a recent playthrough of some of the paths after what...4 months or so of not going through KS, that surely - by now - me being able to see those moments coming would probably mean I wouldn't break out the feels as easily as before. And for the most part, yeah - I've grown ...

Re: What else made you cry?
As far as games are concerned I guess there are a few examples, but the most notable recent example was indeed Spec Ops: The Line. I mean...I could see where it was all headed, but the way it happened and how in the end I still couldn't bring about to blame the main villain for what he'd done...it's...

Re: Shizune Arc
I think for me the most amazing thing about her arc is that it is the ONLY arc where the girl figures shit out for herself in the good end. In every other arc Hisao's words influence the girl for the better, but in this one Hisao's influence does only one thing in the good ending really - convincing...

Re: Shizune Arc
I'd agree with that assessment - it isn't filler at all. But as for myself I found the biggest discrepancy in how those moreso interesting moments in her arc are handled and I'd say that, moreso than anything else, is what caused Shizune's arc to wind up as it did in regards to popularity. Take ever...

Re: Career Day
I particularly love the little differences between the different 'Hisaos' of all 6 paths as to the career paths that are extrapolated within their different paths. Lilly's Hisao: Science teacher (primarily since it's the path of least resistance, much like Lilly wanting to be an English teacher) Shi...

Re: Emi's story and its brilliance
For me the brilliance of Emi's story was that it motivated me enough to give my brother a birthday celebration the likes of which he usually doesn't get. I'd ultimately say that's what's nifty about so much of KS - there's lots of inspiring and great fiction out there, but when you can genuinely say...

Re: Shizune Arc
*snip* I think I didn't quite make myself clear (probably misused the word 'sympathy' a bit). :P I most certainly didn't mean for 'sympathy' to mean 'feeling sorry for'. Heck, for example I really don't feel that sorry for Hanako at all (she makes as many mistakes as Hisao in her arc unfortunately)...

Re: Shizune Arc
Yeah...it was nifty. I'd say one of the moreso interesting things about KS is how it allowed me to seperate feelings of sympathy from feelings of mere empathy. Shizune and Lilly, for example and unlike the other arcs, are stories towards which I empathize a fair bit, but when it comes to being mores...

Re: Who's your favorite and least favorite character?
I just wonder where the whole "feminist conspiracy" thing comes from. That must have been one hell of a breakup. Nah, Kenji tells it in his bad ending pretty well I think. Basically, he got paranoid about his body shutting down after having sex with his ex and since that experience he bec...

Re: The Mutou Appreciation Thread
I think Mutou's not a great science teacher, but a very good homeroom teacher. More or less the gist of my feelings about him too. He's a good person, no doubt, but yeah I remember a similar teacher of my own, only this one was for math. He was a very cool person, but damn he never explained the eq...

Yeah...that one's still one of my favorites...I remember Rin having a line somewhere about wanting to learn cooking so it's not a stretch to imagine it too.
