It would be a massive undertaking and there is no way it will happen, but it would be pretty cool if they pulled a "persona 3 portable" and came with a female main character. A lesbian Misha route (or a kenji route) would be pretty epic.

Actually in publishing terms 40k words is the minimum to be considered a novel. 60k is about average. 100k + books are outliers.

Yep, Shizune's route is my favorite too, so as you might expect the kind of person that enjoys reading her route wouldn't enjoy Hanako's as much. I don't even have a problem with Hanako, the way Hisao acts in Hanako's route is horrible and makes it impossible to empathize with him.

I think you are being overly critical of yourself. You do first person teenager/young woman narration very well and very believably. You are easily on the skill level of mass market paperbacks in young adult fiction. If you haven't tried writing a book I think you should consider it. I'm writing one...
