Re: Recent traceback error, can't open
Try the same method again, but this time without backing up persistent data.

Re: Recent traceback error, can't open
Found quite a few files, a few are "persistant", including a folder dedicated to a file, launcher-4, and a folder that appears to have autosaves and save data (LT1 is common) Take the latest persistent file and run for the hills. Delete the application data folder, open KS, close KS, copy...

Re: Recent traceback error, can't open
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data and look for any folder that looks like important KS data.
Remember to BACKUP "persistent" data.

Re: Help needed
Well, if you don't have a pre-Emi save in your game, start again, press tab, and select corresponding selection items.Vilexistent wrote:I'm not sure I follow, so I start from the beginning again?

Use the skip function until you reach "Instant Replay". That's the only way.

Re: Ubuntu 12.04 - Not Starting
That depends, are you using a 64-bit or a 32-bit version of Ubuntu? If you are using 64-bit, then you're screwed. Not -too- screwed - I got it to work with a little tinkering on my 64-bit Ubuntu. It was a pain though, and long enough ago that I can't give accurate instructions, sorry :/ Does this i...

Re: Missing Large Portion of Screen
Consider one of the following: 1. Switch your renderer. Maybe OpenGL isn't helping. Here's a guide: http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/display_problems.html 2. Did you maximize the window? Furthermore, CAN YOU? 3. Switch to full screen, if it wouldn't hurt sacrificing the whole screen. 4. Any of your con...

Re: Missing a large amount of scenes I've seen before?
Did you finish KS with the help of a flowchart or mistakenly selected a choice before saving? If you did finish Katawa Shoujo with a flowchart , chances are that the flowchart is a bit inaccurate to the game's actual flow. Try going over the game from the beginning and see any changes. If you did se...

Re: Running KS on OpenPandora
I doubt that it would be possible since the device has a 800 x 480 display and KS runs at 800 x 600 Then you crop/resize to fit the screen and edit the script. You have around 1000x600 to work on with backgrounds, 1600x1200 on huge event CGs, and pretty much a cropping job on those 800x600 events a...

Re: Running KS on OpenPandora
It's possible, but mind two things: 1. The Ren'Py 6.10.2 executable used on the Linux version of KS must be ported for the ARM-based platform, which would entail a load of work. EDIT: THIS ==> http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=12669 2. The devs, the Creative Commons license, ...

Yes. Played both of them. Now when are you going to release that other VN about foreign people?
EDIT: Also, do you know that Mike Inel has his own VN?

Re: katawa shoujo app
This doesn't mean that RenPSP couldn't put in some additional effort to actually run KS -if screenshots are any indication the demo sort of runs, but only sort of- but it does mean that they're doing some additional work for no other reason than to run KS. That's where they may run afoul of the 4LS...
