Re: Willing: Akira Vignette (AtD One-Shot)
There's a reason I haven't cracked open the Akira route everyone seems to have fallen in love with, and it is this: I cannot fathom fast-minded Akira ever falling for Captain Obvious's estranged cousin , Petty-Officer Oblivious. Every good interpretation of her character that I have read - this one ...

Re: Hisao and Kenji: Masterful One Shots! Lent Update
Did you consider for a moment that sex can function as a decent remedy for most withdrawal symptoms? Lemons man... where are the lemons?
Headache's gone... my only regret is spelling 'occurs' wrong.

Re: Hisao and Kenji: Masterful One Shots! Lent Update
I sighed and nodded in agreement, although I would like to think I had a little more tact and knowledge when it came to dealings of the opposite gender in college then Hisao did in high school. y u do dis!? Hisao was [only] slightly more knowledgeable about such things then a wine cork. I'd slip th...

Re: After the Dream (PostLilly NeutralEnd) LillyArc (Complet
When Hisao dies suddenly, especially in that situation - just as they're about to greet a second child... Minor non-spoiler correction: Hisao dies about two years after the cardiac incident he suffered on the day his son Akira was born. The parenthetical (sorry!) chapter 'T' numbers are arranged ar...

Re: After the Dream (PostLilly NeutralEnd) LillyArc (Complet
I must admit the "Emi dying of a broken heart"-thing came across to me as weird. It almost sounds like Emi lost her will to live after Hisao died, gave up and faded away. Emi's dealt with loss before. Ah, see this is where I think the divergence occurs. Emi has dealt with losing the bigge...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
This story is how I was introduced to Hoitash, and it's among the collection of fictions I started reading before starting my own diversions. During my first read-through, it was still being published, and I believe there are a number of comments from me in between some of the later chapters. Anyway...

Re: For Want of a Nail - Misha Route (New Chapter 1/18)
seeing as how it appears you haven't added to it it in a about a month and a half, I'm a little worried that you might not be continuing this after all Don't worry. He's taken breaks far longer than this. That's certainly reassuring. Has he given any word on when the next chapter might be out? To q...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
It's possible the Yamaku Foundation purchased and plotted the land without having any clue about the convergence. Considering that it isn't a school specialized for magical students, but rather one where the councils seek out potential mages, I'd guess its placement there was an accident. That seems...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
I've always presumed that it was used to show the places where Misha placed extra~ emphasis~ on a particular word. It's more artistically pleasing than ALL CAPS, and conveys a slightly different meaning anyway. It's probably an incorrect usage on my part, but I use a tilde ~ at the end of sentences...

Re: After the Dream (PostLilly NeutralEnd) Lilly2 up 2014030
Parenthesis being used in exposition, in my opinion, is just wrong, especially when used repeatedly. As my brother often comments, "Information presented in parenthesis is marked as such typically because it's essentially impertinent and has no bearing on the surrounding text." I might be ...

Re: After the Dream (PostLilly NeutralEnd) Shizune5 up 20140
I read this latest part last night, but I was too tired to offer any useful comments. Honestly, I still don't have anything to say except that I'm eagerly awaiting more (I don't think you're done, are you?) from the other characters. Your proof of concept visited each character individually, so I'm ...

Let's just say I hoped he was kidding about making it a Gary Stu intentionally.

This is why I stopped reading; I already concluded that Maru is a Gary Stu, and an annoying one at that.Mirage_GSM wrote:his[Maru's] status as a Gray Stu will be firmly established

I sort of... stopped reading right around the scene with Lilly.
