Re: Kikai Shoujo [update 6/11]
So, is Hitomi a creature from Japanese mythology, from another dimension, an alien, or all of the above? Hitomi is the progeny of moekki's superbly talented hands. Have a link here: http://ks.renai.us/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2212&p=61942&hilit=hitomi#p61942 You'll find Hitomi mostly on the Shimmie ...

Re: The United States of Misha 6/14 Update
I think you made the right choice, Hiotash, in not allowing the 'sleepless' scene to devolve into unnecessary humor-- it would have killed the mood.

KS, Mission Impossible, Dragnet, James Bond, The Magnificent Seven, with a little Kill Bill and CSI: Miami tossed in for good measure.

Re: Dead Space : Nakai (sample prologue)
It is a rather engaging story, even though it is a little hard to read with the grammar errors. I'd like to see where you take this, so keep on writing. As they say, 'practice makes perfect'.

Re: Kikai Shoujo [update 6/11]
I only have one complaint. You didn't use the original Twilight Zone introduction. Still, it's a worthy idea. I'm looking forward to it. Welllll, that's the intro I remember best from when I was a kid, sitting up late at night, the volume just high enough for me to hear with my face about six ...

As to the first: Terrifying. Seriously, edge of the seat stuff there. As to the second: Hilarious. And Emulsifier is correct, it's generally accepted that to receive, you must first give, though there are exceptions. Also, the 'cook up a big batch of chocolate and give it to friends and coworkers ...

Misha is 5'1", if my conversion from metric to Imperial is correct. Converting from metric to imperial is never correct. :-) In the words of the great Chilled Chaos: FOR AMERICA! and Sweden. No offense meant, mind. Nah, most of my fellow Americans are just backwards*, or too hardheaded* to convert ...

Total Recall and Rec Roomie
look here for a hint at who mystery girl is. Total Recall I open the door to the student dormitories and find a small antechamber. Hitomi is waiting for me, her face again set in what appears to be her default expression, somewhere between bored and amused, as if a person just told her a joke she’s ...

It feels right.
Well, any spoilers you included seem vague enough. Then again, I feel that if you visit the fan fiction forums before you've completed all the paths, you are just asking to be spoiled.

Re: The United States of Misha Updated 6/10
Gah, I totally missed the SW reference. Too many beers, that's my excuse. Now I can't get the sight of Lynda with cinnamon buns stuck to the sides of her head out of my mind. (It's been too much time since I watched Emipre Strikes back... I think Leah's hair was straigth in that scene, but anyway ...

Re: Left Behind - Taxi ride to the airport (Driver's POV)
Poor driver. Guy needs a hug, badly. I like his empathy. Most of the drivers I've had were totally apathetic, some seemed to think I was causing them some inconvenience. 'Course, I never call a cab unless it's after midnight and there are no buses running so... guess I never blamed the guys too much ...

Re: Ballad of the Caterpillar
Lilly doesn't at all strike me as being 'foxy'... too many connotations of mischief and trickery. A deer, perhaps? A deer would be too timid to be Lilly, I think. The fox is wise and sly, plans her movements in advance. There's a story of a fox who makes a bet with a tanuki over which can drive a ...

Re: Ballad of the Caterpillar
Hanako is the Caterpillar, yes. The Fox is Lilly. Also staring (In order of appearance), the Baku and the Kitten, The Hawk and the Pigeon, and the young man. I have everything planned out for how the story unfolds, if I was writing a story I'd probably be done with it be now, but rhyme and meter are ...
