Went running the other day and halfway through lightning started striking, yep, that's the end of that run.

Today was nice, got my buddy to go running with me.

Anyone else run with a friend or do most of you guys fly solo?

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Based off of how exhausted I am after today's run, I'm going to need to repeat this week. Perhaps twice. Taking that break really killed my endurance XP.
In other news though, run was nice, weather is perfect right now. Nice and cool, not hot, light breeze. Awww yeahh.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Alright, now that graduation, moving, and sickness (Bleh XP) are all over with it's time to get back into the routine. I'll be with you all out on the track tomorrow morning.

Also, as a side note, Xan, your signature. What the fuck did I just read?

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Aaaand Day 2 is a failure. I gave myself a day of rest after the first day, and my arms just couldn't finish their first rep. So one more day of rest and healing I hope, and I'll try again tomorrow. Just keep at it! No-one here started off at the top, through persistence and hard work each person ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I see from your signature that you're on week 4 - how's that going? That's actually just me constantly forgetting to update my signature. I've been redoing the week. I had to quit for a while because I had a lot of stressful events. I do Theatre and so I had to do the performance of a show, finals ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Update on my stuff: I've had to be offline for a couple of weeks. I have managed to keep up with running, though just barely. Glad to see that everyone is sticking with it and making progress. I'm going to be running my first race this Sunday; I'm a little nervous about it. I've never run with ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Either... you get hit by a vehicle or.. you get mugged. the 2nd option happens mostly at night. the first one, very often.. The Philippine streets lack pedestrian lanes or sidewalks.. and usually, they get parked on. sadly.. there are jogging areas here but i live 2hrs away from the nearest stadium ...

I run along the street sidewalks. You don't need to have a certain place to run.

Re: ASL

Quick question, just wanted a bit of clarification to make sure I'm not wrong.

ASL is English in Sign Language correct? No need to learn new grammar rules or anything, just a new vocabulary, yes?

It's been nice and warm all week however this morning it was snowing/raining and was bitter cold. So no morning run for me, if it isn't freezing tomorrow I will run then. Darn weather. :?
