While certainly Hanako does feel depressed from time to time, that's not the same thing to me as actually suffering from depression . I don't believe she does. Self-esteem issues, yes. Abandonment issues, yes. Trust issues, yes yes. But clinical depression? The signs aren't there for me to support ...

You're right, it's totally impossible for anybody to get the impression that Emi's hair is pink.Charmant wrote:And none of those alleged colors are present in her sprite, as evidenced by it clearly not having pink hair, which brings us back to the question.

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.
Emi's hair did look a lot pinker in the KS beta. And it's in one of those weird intermediate shades that genuinely does look pink next to certain other colors.

Boy, this update. I'm going to have to dwell on this chapter for a while. I think I'll need to read through it again before I can make thoughtful comments. (But they will come, as they do.) The one thought I will contribute at this point is that my growing impatience with Hanako kind of reached a he...

Re: Waitaminute... Misha HAS to be bisexual.
I never even came close to saying sexuality is limited to those four things. All I said was that all sexuality has been categorized , which it has. A stunning revelation by the renowned sexologist, Forums Poster Charmant, PhD And I'm not inaccurate about the meaning of that term. You are. And that'...

Going back a little now to actually comment on the last update. Also, Nurse is a fun character to write  Whoa-ho, not for me. Nurse is my fucking albatross. Anyway, I enjoyed this update. It's hard to really find something to say about it, though, because (and I suppose I'll sound like a hack h...

If anything, they're RPing Mary Sues of themselves because they have a desperate need to seem more important to themselves and others than they are, so instead of trying to find themselves as people, they identify with or just flat out make up different issues that they don't have for the sake of g...

Re: Waitaminute... Misha HAS to be bisexual.
Or, in this case, people who are all "My sexuality is so unique and different, you can't even categorize it!" even though we can and have and did. If you literally think the spectrum of sexuality is solely limited to straight-bi-gay-ace, you vastly underestimate the fluidity of sexuality,...

Re: Random KS Discussion
For the record, my favorite Katawa Shoujo theme never actually made it into the game. It's the second draft of Painful History.
I sort of consider it the unofficial-official leitmotif of Iwanako, since she's the only love interest of Hisao who never had one of her own.

Man. Every time I see one of these kinds of stories, I just want to write one of my own. But I take so long with my story that I could never justify sitting down to work on a one-shot like this. Anyway, this was really good. I honestly didn't want it to end. I don't usually like Kenji/Yuuko, but her...

Re: Sisterhood: True Edition (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)
Johnny Got His Gun , by Dalton Trumbo, is a novel without any commas whatsoever. Personally, I think the argument for or against commas is kind of pointless, but it's especially ridiculous to assert that excessive use of commas "fell out of fashion" a century ago. Writers use a lot of com...

Re: Can You Remember Me? An Amnesiac Story
I'm liking this so far, but I admit I'm disappointed that this story's not compatible with Suriko's vision of the Astronomy Club, which I consider canonical.
Other than that, it's a pretty fun read. I hope you have no trouble keeping it going.
