No worries, it wasn't a massively clear link either, should've put (link) behind it or so.

I can't find that quote. What did he do?

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

I've just read this... What a way to remember someone dear to you. @Xiious: People usually want to only hear what they think is the truth. This also goes for those parents of her. They want a scapegoat, someone to take out their rage on. They don't want to believe that their daughter sacrificed her...

I guess Shizune dared Hideaki to do so and Hideaki just couldn't be bothered changing back into normal clothes, therefore warping his taste in clothing...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Well, I'm gone for one evening and whoa, there's a mountain of new posts. Is Friday the 13th that bad for you guys? Speaking generally: If you're the kind of guy that usually doesn't get invited for stuff and generally isn't noticed a lot: I've been there. In high school, I never got told wh...

Re: katawa shoujo app

The issue is that the license under which Katawa Shoujo is released does not allow derivate works. This means that only the Katawa Shoujo team is allowed to port the game and they're not interested into doing it. So I'm afraid you're out of luck :(

Re: What makes a good Visual Novel?

This goes for voice-over as well, it has to be quite complete, consistent and believable. If you are not sure you can achieve that quality, it is more likely to be distracting for the reader than having no voice-over. Music-wise, I don't care since I'm deaf. How you can care for voice-overs but not...

Re: What makes a good Visual Novel?

For myself, the story as a whole has to be high quality and interesting to me. The story also needs to revolve around something and be consistently interesting to read. There are a lot of books that might be good quality but that I haven't really read because I picked it up, started reading the firs...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Aye, girls don't bite. I don't have issues talking to girls myself (not trying to show off here) but I just can't be bothered actively looking for a relationship. That's a good thing, you should never be actively looking for a relationship. Never approach a girl for the first time hoping that you'l...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

@Kutagh, well I would love to have a gf which I would like, but I guess I have motivation issues as well, lol. And I just don't have any female friends to begin with, which I could call or propose to meet and stuff. And I have lost my touch with females even further since I've graduated from highsc...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Heh, I'm 20 myself and studying at university... In September officially attending two universities even (due to that Sign Language minor). And as for girls, my 'issue' is that I'm not trying at all since I don't feel the need to have a gf. If I happen to get a chance, I probably will jump on it (on...

Re: If you want to learn sign language:

I learned Sign language after KS. I'm not as fluent as Misha, but I have enough practice that allows me to sign at a decent speed. I used it to Cheat in a Test. Well, I guess you're ahead of me at this stage, certainly in the signing aspect (though I could probably compete with you in the reading d...

Re: What Katawa Shoujo has introduced you to.

For me it is mainly taking an interest into manga. Never really readed mangas till I played Katawa Shoujo. Now I'm reading a wide variety of manga. I don't know though, I checked out several other visual novels but none of them grabs my attention. Guess Katawa Shoujo just had the right storyline to ...

Re: If you want to learn sign language:

Exactly. It is the responsibility of the client to make sure they get the information they need. If they aren't interested into it, that is their problem. They're still being paid for it and they're an interpreter, not a nanny. Currently checking out oovoo for video conferencing. Seems to allow up t...

Re: If you want to learn sign language:

@Metalangel: FYI one of the reasons I didn't use a sign language interpreter but a written interpreter (spoken to PC) is because sign language needs a 100% focus: You have to focus visually on the signer or you will miss signs (and thus information). With the written interpreter there is basically a...
