I've considered writing a KS/Pokemon crossover and here is the list I had going for each trainer and their mainline Pokemon; Shizune = Abra/Mr. Mime Misha = Rydon/Clefable Hisao = Evee Lilly = Growlithe (Niji)/Crobat Hanako = Piplup/ Cloyster Emi: Pikachu Rin = Smeagle Mutou = Porygon Z/ Ditto Nurse...

Playing Hanako's route before Lilly's should come with a warning on the label, like playing Aeka's route before any others in YMK I like the story, if it was a bit short, but Hanako liking Hisao in Lilly's route has been done a lot. Shizune, while I couldn't stand her in a relationship, would be an amazing friend who I could have a great time hanging out with. Not to mention she's one of the more immediately likable girls in the game.

Instead of being a doucher like most of the people in the thread, I'll simply say that the story needs a title and offer a couple suggestions;

Perhaps you should call it simply, 'Let's Play'.

Or perhaps, 'View From The Shelf'?
Maybe 'Teddy Bears and Bishops'?
I like that last one the most.

Oooh boy...should I start speaking again? Well, I've said it thousands of time in this board but just lurk around. Might bring you clarity; not many people understand or capture the dynamic between Hisao and Shizune, and I can't blame them. Yeah, I've heard it all before. It's supposed to be subtle...

The Ranking: Lilly/Hisao: Forever and Ever and Ever. Emi/Hisao: Barring horrific irony involving a bus, these two are rock solid. Hanako/Hisao: A little concern here, but I think they'll make it just fine. Rin/Hisao: Here's where I'm worried. I'm a little optimistic with the ending where Hisao helps...

It's been almost a year since the release of HR and I still giggle like a little girl when I see a "I never asked for this" joke. :) But yeah, this fanfic has been a lot of fun to read and it is very well written as well! I think all the characters' reactions were portrayed very realistic...
