Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Well, I started the Couch to 5K program last night. I thought I was gonna have a non-cuteness-inspired HRRRNNNGGG, and my sides were well and truly aching in the second half of that twenty minutes, but I kept thinking of Emi and all of you guys and I'm glad to say I didn't give up. I'm really amaze...

That being the case I think you're right. Well spotted.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I just redid week 4 day 1 after a week's rest. It was hard going, but it felt good. Last Monday I hurt my knee at the track and the Nurse took my legs away. Well, not really, but I had to stop for a week. It hurts a bit after this run, but not as much as I'd feared. The black will now resume slowly ...

Re: Hanako's body language

That's an interesting observation; I hadn't really taken note of it myself. I suppose it makes sense that when she's more exposed or in a more intimate setting she's less confident. I think Hisao notices that when he first sees her in Lilly's room. I could have sworn there was pyjama sprite where sh...

Re: Best Dressed

I think that was the joke :P I need an internet sarcasm detector. :( A universally known internet sarcasm typeface would be really handy. :) I was just being cheeky (Hanako's crushing victory, my little picture of her), but I should probably not do that so much; it's hard to get things like tone ac...

Re: Best Dressed

I'm going to be shockingly unpredictable and choose Hanako. I just love the short waist length jacket and the cute ivory shirt with the ruched collar. Shy stylishness.

Re: I absolutely love Lilly! My first play-through and endin

In this case I think YMMV, depending on each player's world view, if Lilly is selfishly helping Hanako or selflessly doing so. For certain. I never realized Lilly was such a divisive character. I suppose that evidence enough that she isn't perfect. I'm not going to say your interpretation's wrong, ...

Emi.
Welcome, and thanks for sharing your story. I'm glad that even though Emi's story wrecked you, it helped in the end. I don't think many of us had a clear idea of what heavy trouble we were getting into when we installed this. :)

Re: I absolutely love Lilly! My first play-through and endin

Lilly comes across to me as a hedonist, especially in her arc. That is not a bad thing per se, but it is not very altruistic and certainly nothing to crow about. I'd say more epicurean than hedonist. She doesn't live only for pleasure. She's also a true and steadfast friend to someone much lower in...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I've been on a break for almost 1 week now. When I tried to run the last time I had to give up after just 30 seconds. My legs hurt that much. More specifically my chins. Is my running technic wrong? I've made it to the end of week 7 without any problems. Could it be that i did both day 1 and 2 of w...

Re: I absolutely love Lilly! My first play-through and endin

To the OP: how do you feel about the fact that Lilly received the request to live in Scotland permanently before she went on vacation with Hanako and Hisao, and therefore pretty much based her entire relationship with Hisao on a lie (or at least the withholding of truth)? For example, when Lilly cr...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

The best running spot around here is the parking lot of the mall which is cement. And as for the shoes...well, they're rubber shoes. I don't really know if they're for running or just normal rubber shoes coz I ain't good at that. wahahaha~ (unless someone can tell me) I actually did some jogging be...

Re: IRL Significant Others

My wife is going to play it in a couple of weeks when she's done a few other things. She thought the concept was really cool when I explained it to her. Like I did, she has no preconceived notions about the medium/genre, so it was a fairly easy sell.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

So yeah, I started this morning. and I think it was kinda nice. Also helps a little when you think that Emi's inspiring you to go a little further. feet feels like rocks though. This won't last a week like when you carry weights right? coz that'd be a pain to walk around. Good on you for starting, ...
