Re: What do you do to feel better after a night of the feels
Read Dune, and enjoy the cold, masterfully done narration of Frank Herbert, letting all emotions be drained by his carefully picked words and the shrewd manipulations and gambits of the amazing factions he crafted. For a few minutes afterwards I am entirely unable to feel anything. It feels like my ...

Re: And to Live in Peace -Post Hanako's Good End-
Very nice, very nice indeed. I saw a few errors here and there but I'll have to get to you about them some other time. Please do ! Every mistake that went through proofreading needs to be annihilated. And thanks for the praise ! I think your adding in of events and descriptions like Hisao's stomach...

Re: BRH Short Story Collection - 'Treading Water' added 4/16
If I may... I move my mouth but no sound comes out so I snap it shut again, better than looking like a fish after all . Regaining my composure, taking a few more deep breaths I utter a small. ‘Y-yes.’ That may be because English isn't my primary language, but I didn't understand this passage. Other ...

Re: Mendācium (Hanako) - Complete
Mendācium tickles one's suspension of disbelief a little too much, alright. Maybe it's a story that shouldn't have been told, alright. Well I thought it was a beautiful, well written story. Well written is a Duh, because Brogurt is a boss in that particular department. Beautiful, because Hisao and H...

Re: The Road of Adulthood (Post Hanako Good End)
Since I also had a date chapter in mind, I'll tell you what my meager corpus-inflicted brain has computed : Hanako loves a good story, no matter what kind or what setting. She read "Life of Pi", "Dance Dance Dance", and, in Lilly's route, asks Hisao what he think of the Dune seri...

Re: And to Live in Peace -Post Hanako's Good End-
Did you mean 'here'? 'Her' doesn't make sense to me. Corrected at light of speed - ε . Looks alright so far, I'll probably keep an eye on this. A fun, simple story that should be told anyway. But yes, watch the formatting. Keep at it! This is really good. I can't wait to continue reading! Nice so f...

Re: And to Live in Peace -Post Hanako's Good End-
I feel like that was almost entirely aimed at me. It was aimed at no-one in particular. Please don't take it personally. =) Anyway, do you know tony IRL or something? I don't think anyone on these forums would actually take sides in this competition you're having or whatever, and you sure seem to l...

Re: And to Live in Peace -Post Hanako's Good End-
Noted. Do you have any suggestions about that ?
As for the story, it'll mostly be self-contained snippets of life like this one, with some connections from one chapter to the other, but hardly any overarching plot. I'm pretty much using the same format as tony246, just, well, with different stories.

And to Live in Peace -Post Hanako's Good End- (Ch4 up)
Hello and welcome ladies, gentlemen and individuals of mysterious and indistinct gender to the beginning of a hopefully inspired (don't hold your breath) series of fan-fiction featuring mainly Hanako, Hisao, vanilla and words. There's going to be many words, and this is going to be light-hearted. I ...

Re: Typical Anime Classroom
The eccentric friend is like a japanese version of me ! :D On topic, it's really hard to tell since we have no interaction at all with 80% of the class. I mean, except for the Misha/Shizune duo and Hanako we speak with Miki, what ? Two, maybe three times ? Naomi and Natsume are only briefly mentione...

Re: The Once Sentence Challenge!
Katawa Shoujo is a Visual Novel that purposefully sends you crashing through the wall of your pre/misconceptions; it can hurt like hell, but at least once you're through, the wall is broken and you come out as a better person because of it.

Re: Why is Hisao so disliked?
I hardly think such derailments will earn you both anything but the enmity of the Local Wrathful Mute Chef Overlord (or equivalent). Personally I've got no major qualms against Hisao. Sure he made mistakes the player cannot prevent, but that's part of the story. He's as flawed as any other guy. This...
