Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Well, now seems to be a good time to start the pushups (Really thanks for making that chart. I like how you can see the coming weeks all at once, unlike the website. Gives me something to look forward to and think "soon I will be able to do that.") You'e definitely inspired me to start wit...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Been away from the computer and internet for a while, it's definitely given me more time to go outside and exercise. :P Just filling up free time with my new hobby of physical activity rather than my old hobby of surfing the net. but owwwww, I got sunburn on my legs yesterday (as I was putting on su...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
There's 65+ pages so this has probably been mentioned, but how do you guys go through with this without someone like Emi to help push you haha I find myself wanting to do this, but thinking about having to do it alone as opposed to with a partner (let alone a cute girl like Emi) seems impossible. E...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
As far as the barefoot thing, I've been doing it barefoot. It's alright. I'm glad to say I haven't gotten any shin splints or other injuries yet. I also haven't stepped on anything sharp, and I just run on the paths and sidewalks around town (although I used to walk around barefoot for a while befor...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Isn't that a little extreme for a setback? I think Week 4 or 5 would be better. And remember that you use slightly different muscles for sprinting and normal running, so maybe it's best to do a full 30-minute run once a week or two just to maintain your stamina. Perhaps, although my "running&q...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
^That's what troll's do. @Hyugafan, good job! Gotta say, kinda looking forward to W7D1 (tomorrow), my first week with no pauzes at all. The last run of 25 minutes was a good run and I completed it without fail. :) Good stuff :D I've decided to do C25K over again, this time pushing myself to go fast...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
One of the points of running regularly is so that you actually CAN run to somewhere, without wheezing and collapsing when you get there.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Congrats guys. I, too, finished the program today with a 5k. I ran the whole time (well, as fast as I could, which was slower than some of the walkers lol). I finished in 51 minutes and got my t-shirt :D http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a315/ookokorrafaa/5k1.jpg As far as where to go from here, I'l...

Re: What do you think?
I think It would be nice, although it might limit your own imagination of what each character would sound like. Also, I'm pretty sure fast readers would get annoyed pretty quickly if the voice acting was slow. Yeah I'm not usually a fan of voice acting if there's nothing else going on to be paying ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
WHOOOOOOO just got back from my run today, I got my inspiration back. I was feeling pretty sluggish and tired for the first half, but then all of the sudden I started singing Eye of the Tiger in my head and it all went away. I was PUMPED, I started smiling, it was great. funny how that song works ht...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
So I attempted week 8 day 2 today, but found out that John Denver is not good running music. I ended up just laying down under a tree and watching the clouds partway through. It felt great -- made my day -- but I was supposed to be running. Felt like that avi ^ oh well next time And on this s...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Woooooo, week 8 day 1. I ran 4k. My plan for this week is to run 4k, then 4.5k for week 9, then finally, 5k. I feel like I can squeeze out one more k, it shouldn't be too hard. :D Almost there! I don't personally like having exercise partners, because I like to go at my own pace, whether that be unu...
