I completely understand why Shizune is like that, but Emi surprised me. I'd think that anyone who disliked Emi would hate Shizune, because they have pretty much the same personality, but Shizune is way less subtle and her story way way worse.

I loved her story, it was amazing. The final scene (excluding the epilogue) reminded me of this.

Eh, maybe it's because she's prim and proper, but doesn't force it on everyone else, which is something that's still kind of a new concept.

Rin, definitely. My favorites are Hanako and Lilly (in that order but Hanako is only ahead by a nose), and I know that Rin is definitely my third favorite. I didn't care about Emi at all until I played her story, and I don't like Shizune (Y U NO HAVE MISHA ROUTE).

I honestly don't think I can say anything bad about Lilly. She's flawless, but still an original and convincing character. I still prefer Hanako, but Lilly just seems extremely well rounded.

I can see quite a bit of dibbling for Shizune right about now, I wonder what it is about her? Maybe it's because her story didn't do a very good job of getting you to be attached to her. There was a neutral ending, but no bad ending. As for the closure part, we know that they're going to be together after high school, and we can't say that about anyone else (especially Shizune). It just seemed to be a million times more rewarding than any of the other ones.
