Re: What do you do to feel better after a night of the feels
I only really had one night of feels. Fortunately, over the years my wife and I have both gotten very good at the whole "someone to hold onto until the storm passes" thing. After that I made an appointment with a psychologist. I had needed to do this for a long time anyway; KS just gave me...

Re: Does KS really cause Manly Tears
I have to ask... WTF are manly tears? Tears are tears. There are no manly, womanly, childish, etc tears. Yes, I shed tears when I played KS. Im not going to try and make my self feel better, more manly, masculine, wtf ever you want to call it by calling them manly tears. They were tears. Thats all ...

Re: Swimsuits fan art?
If /b/ had a wiki, it would probably look a lot like ED. Keep this in mind if you insist on going there. I hadn't thought of the full-body racing-type suit before, but I could see Hanako possibly going for something like that. But IIRC, most swimsuit pics have Hanako hiding behind something (or some...

Re: Who Told You About KS?
I don't remember exactly who did it, but it happened back when the Act 1 demo was first released, in a browser game from which I've since retired.

Re: What Disabilities Do Limit You From Driving Anyway?
As long as you can pass all the tests, you can drive. If you need some sort of device to help you pass the test then you also need it to drive, but you can still drive: the most common case here is people who need glasses to pass the vision test (which, incidentally, I do). At least in the US, I don...

Re: It's a cosplay!
Awesome cosplay. I agree that it's rather pale for Hanako (though some of that may be the lighting rather than your makeup itself) but you make it work with the body language exceedingly well.

Re: Proper Reaction to a Negative Reception
Oh! There was that troll thread a while back that used a GameFaqs review. One of the points of the review was that KS was racist or that the devs motivation for making the game was racist? Against what race? If it's the review I'm thinking of, then I think it tried to claim the game was racist agai...

Re: Katawa Shoujo in Tabletop Roleplaying
Honestly, I'd use HeartQuest's system (FUDGE-based) for something like this. It's as close as one gets to custom-tailored without actually being such.

Re: Proper Reaction to a Negative Reception
To people who don't already like this particular game, defending it without looking incredibly creepy is probably an impossible task, and therefore only makes the game look worse. As such, flaming is probably a very bad idea. This is the kind of thing that has to be allowed to speak for itself.

Re: Is Miki black?
Word of God says no, but it was plausible given her design. She doesn't follow typical anime/manga design conventions for black people, but no Western artist would have touched those conventions with a 100-foot pole anyway (they resemble blackface too strongly), and an animesque design for a black c...

Re: Katawa Crash (FAQ, DL link, and to-do log first post)
I've found a MAJOR exploit for this game, and registered here just to warn the developer about it, so that it can be removed. You probably should have used a PM to report this, since it allows a player to cheat. But I can confirm that the developer knows about this: when I first registered, it was ...

Were it not for the fact that this would involve showing KS to a seven-year-old, I would say she should get axe legs so she could guest-star in Axe Cop.

Re: Last sentence to Hanako (Spoilers)
I never got her bad ending, and am not going to. I really dont know if Id be able to take it.....so, Ill never know.... The bad endings are much, much easier to take if you've already seen the others. That's not a problem with the writing; it's a psychology thing. The first ending you see in a give...
