Re: Random KS Discussion

I've spent my third complete play through of KS looking out for minor characters. In Rin's arc, we hear of Nurse's 'people' and a young female nurse who smiles at Hisao as he leaves Nurse's office. I wonder what a slice-of-life piece based on the medical staff at Yamaku would be like... hmm... I ac...

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...

When you read a piece of literature, and all the characters that pop up in your head are either Hisao, Shizune, or any of te KS cast.

...it always gives me ideas to write another fiction despite knowing I still have something to complete.

Re: Random KS Discussion

The buggers are at it AGAIN . Their poor English skills make that blog a bit difficult to read, but am I understanding correctly that they are adding new routes to the game? Don't they realize that even if they don't change any of 4LS's writing, that patching new content into the game would ...

Re: Random KS Discussion

Can you please enlighten us then? makes you wonder why it would be written like that to a primarly western audience. Sorry, has been busy for a while so I have little time to visit the forums. Why is it written like that? Shizune's route, I mean. I've been through this over and over, occassionally ...

Re: Random KS Discussion

Are we discussing Shizune's route again? Or Shizune again? ... Can someone send me a quick PM of what's going on? I'll answer via PM when I have time. One thing I'll say, you really need to be invested with the culture involved in it to actually understand why 'x' does 'y'--which is often lost to mo...

Re: Recommend a VN

Here's something I got my hands on recently. Not sure it has a translated version but... White Album 2: Introductory/Closing chapter. It has good songs attached to it and it may be dated, but it's still a fine piece of work (had to actually dig through multiple stores to fin them both). WARNING: LIN...

The punctuality and drive of Shizune Hakamichi, her precision in completing something to perfection. The patience and kindness of Lilly Satou. The joy and love for the 'little things/moments' that Hanako Ikezawa finds Rin Tezuka's intense creativity, her absurd imagination And lastly, Emi Ibarazaki'...

A short update (ARTWORK I ADDED!)

The next chapter is still in the works and is coming along nicely. University and life is back in full gear, so update may be slow and I sincerely apologize for that :) Now, on to what's up. To 'accommodate' the slow update, I recently commissioned an artwork from an acquaintance of mine for a numbe...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

Kenji? That's Hikikomori, a different kind of syndrome not related chuunibyou which usually starts in middle-school. although we can argue it's the same, but hikikomori usually 'appear' due to overwhelming social pressure that someone can't cope with to the point it drove them into isolation, somet...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

I guess here it strikes earlier, and leaves faster. In grade school we always pretended to be spies and warriors and stuff, quite similar to how chu2 presents it (we even kept a notebook with stats) and all our friends thought we were super cool. We became more grounded in 6th grade and i'd say by ...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai means "I dont care about 8 grader syndrome, i just want to date!" Which is the name of the anime, the condition is called chuunibyou. Its pretty common, but not as extreme as the anime depicts. It's actually more 'Even if I have middle-school syndrome, I want...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

So ChuChuism is a real thing? I guess that must be a Japanese thing. In middle school the craziest thing we did is invent sadistic torture games with magnifying glasses. Good days. It's...as real as it gets. It's normal over in the west too, is it? The time when we're searching for something 'fun' ...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

I have been thinking for a while and it actually got to me that we didn't know that much of their middle-school days. Back in those days, certain type of people would have certain...let's just say 'fantasies' of what they want life to be, either due to influence from popular culture or what-not (it ...

Does that mean anything in particular or is it Japan's version of drunk gibberish?
It basically means 'round and round and round'--slurred.
