I tried Fruity Loops a couple of times. Couldn't stand it! Any daw that has a decent MIDI editor and good support for plugins + all the basic stuff you need is good enough for me
Still think FL is a massive brainderp.

Re: Piano Sheet Music?
Armarfi, you seem like a pretty cool guy eh, answering in threads and doesn't afraid of anything. I want you to know that I thoroughly enjoyed the music you made, even listening to some now. Now playing: Raindrops and Puddles. My favorite is Painful History though :D Only complaint/notice I have is ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
1) Essentially, yes. A lot faster, I can say that much. My GPU client can chew through 6-7 WU's a day no problem if I let it. 2) GPU and Multicore client at the same time? I'm not sure really. I know GPU plays nicely with the single core client but I couldn't say about Multicore. 3) GTX275 should ...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?
It is the best DAW I have ever used. And it's "free" if you drag out the trial, but it's so dirt cheap and Cocko can take all of my money!EvilDragon wrote:You get instant respect points over here for using Reaper!Ensi wrote:Gonna chuck it in Reaper and take a look

Keep in mind though that I don't think a lot of people have their correct age on YouTube (to view age-restricted videos for example).
I'm 108 on YouTube

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Just installed the main single-cpu version and it's running alright. I have a quad so it kind of just uses 25% of my total power overall. I have some questions some of you probably can answer (the FAQ was a bit confusing): 1. The GPU client, it works in the same way as the CPU client only with just ...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?
Yes. GUITAR Pro. Precisely the reason they should NOT have bothered with note entry, but stay at tabs only. Oh well. :D I'm not really that big a theory nut, but I did go to music school so it kinda brushed on to me. :) Good luck with porting it to GP! ;) Thanks! :) More time consuming than ...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?
Haha, note entry in Guitar Pro is a joke. MuseScore, Sibelius, Finale... much better. I know. But not everyone is a theory-nut and frequently use Sibelius/Finale etc. And I don't think it's a "joke". It has alot of options, the most standard ones and it works, but not as polished as the ones you ...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?
Haha! These are all the same notes that I wrote, just written differently. There's a reason why I made that key signature. It's so that you wouldn't have all those ugly natural symbols and flat symbols. Ex. In the third note of the first bar, you wrote a B-natural, and then you had to correct it by ...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?
It's in the key of C-Flat Major. This key is basically a middle finger to us violinist so I'm not gonna learn this song anytime soon. You guitarists may have better luck with it but idunno. I'm still waiting for somebody to transpose this song into a more suitable key for violinist and an octave ...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?
I just LOVE Painful History, although as a guitarist who isn't very good at notation/theory: http://i.imgur.com/IjF2d.jpg http://mlkshk.com/r/4ILY Guess I better start learning more theory until I can find a MIDI (to import to Guitar Pro so I can decipher it)! Trying to decipher it now using Google ...
