Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously
Just finished yesterday Hanako's route with good and bad ending. Actually I'm feeling a bit worried, but not because of "the feels", rather the opposite: after reading a few pages of this topic, I was surprised because I didn't experience all the emotional turmoil many of you seem to have...

Re: If Katawa Shoujo was a JRPG...
Damn I loved D&D, would agree with most, but Shizune oughta be warlord and Emi should be paladin. Emi's fighting spirit>her speed. I always wanted Hanako as a dark pact warlock but I guess theres no justification.

Re: When did you come to like a particular character?
I would join in the discussion but I have completely no idea when I fell in love with dear Hanako. It was my love for books and chess that brought us together at first, yet I knew that there was something about her I couldn't run away from at the first moment I saw her. But you could also say I fel...

Hanako: The bar. Getting hustled in pool by a shy shrinking violet. It's the quiet ones you gotta look out for D: Who knows what else she can do haha That reminded me of George Carlin. "It's the quiet ones you've got to watch. Well I'm sure that while you're watching the quiet ones the noisy o...

Re: KS on TVTropes
Hopefully people understand that, because it is oh so true. Cliches everywhere. Meh, all tropes are tools . Even cliches. I've seen them done well before. The way I see it, it represents the absolute border of human literature works. Every possible method and technique of creating fiction is now da...

Ideals? In what sense? I don't see how they are cliche love interests from any random tvshow/anime/movie.gRaViJa wrote:Now thinking a bit more before i post, unlike my last post here, i think many people also might feel so empty because the girls in KS are actually not realistic, they are ideals.

I wish I could've done that. Sadly, my line of work disallows me that freedom.Strahan wrote:Yea it influenced my life; I called off work for three days because I was absorbed in it, lol.

Re: POLL: The Various Age Groups of KS ~Revised~
Thirty-seven here. None of my friends my age are into anime/manga/VN so I end up having to go to forums to chat about them, lol. Sadly, if my similar-aged friends would look past the drawn/animated bias and just watch/play some of this stuff, they'd probably be impressed at the stories. Yea I gotta...

That is such an informative & analytic OP. I really can't see how anyone could've put it better. You're the Sigmund Freud of KS.
