It wouldn't really work because one, you have to technically right a new book for every character's route. Two, certain scenes like in Lily's good route where she come back to you and that music box plays will lack the music that goes with.

I thought KS would be some cripple pr0n like what a lot of people said, but once I played it, I got sucked into the game's amazing story and I cried on my first arc, Emi.

I feel awesome. My routes from favourite to least favourite: Emi, Lily, Hanako, Rin, Shizune. Kudos to 4LS, an AMAZING game. Emi's and Lily's routes made me cry like a baby.
