Re: Reconciliation - (a Hanako bad-end story)
Could you also stop the pointless images at the end of every single post? Typically those are reserved for special occasions, not for every single time you say something. It's kind of like when someone puts a smiley at the end of every sentence and it gets on your nerves because they do it even if ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Oh, good grief. So a few weeks ago I posted about how my client crashed and didn't seem inclined to restart. After a few days it did, and started working on the last work unit. Unfortunately it took two full weeks to complete said unit (which was only 750 steps), and when I finally did I didn't get ...

Re: Reconciliation - (a Hanako bad-end story)
Exactly. No epilogue and no bonus chapter. This particular story is finished. What happens next is up to each individual reader. Right from the beginning, I'd planned to keep it open at the end. Lilly still has a lot of shit to go through, but there's hope for her. Hanako's future is also lo...

Re: Little Faith [Lilly Good Ending Extension, Spoilers, Sci
Minor nitpick: Yeah, this has come up a few times in this fic and its brethren. There are also recurring pronoun issues; when writing about "she and I" or "Hanako and her" or whatever remember to drop the other party to determine the correct pronoun (e.g. "She always spoke ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
A few grammar things; nothing major, but: Misha makes her departure , locking the door and closing it afterward. She is locking the door and closing it afterwards? And how does she lock it at all if she left the keys on the desk? I assumed it was one of those doors where you can lock it by pushing ...

Re: 2400 words from a path never written.
So given the amount of people who want to see me expand on my take on Saki, it looks like my next big fanfic project will be a "Theoretical Saki Route" type thing. I'll keep this thread up, but the eventual route may not specifically include these drabbles. Cool! It's nice to have fans wh...

Re: Reconciliation - (a Hanako bad-end story)
I actually think Lilly's behavior is pretty much spot on. We've never seen her have to deal with grief (or any strong emotions, really), and losing one's spouse is one of the situations where behavioral facades are most likely to crack. So, no problems there IMO. I did think Hanako was a bit too str...

It's a good point about how the rules never change, though.Mirage_GSM wrote:Him also likeing board games was probably laying it on a bit too thickly, but otherwise another great chapter!

Nice. Now I have an image of Miki and Emi reconciling later on down the road, with apologies from Emi and Miki maybe getting over it. Maybe a pipe dream, but still.
Also, someone oughtta hook her up with Misha. They have a lot in common in this path . . .

Re: With Apologies To Harlan Ellison [Spoilers, Gore Discret
Also it seems a bit wasteful, to have six potential snacks killed when you have the ability to simply make Hisao think he killed them. During the story, I got the impression the voice hated Hisao more than anyone in the group. It could have had any of them but it WANTED to destroy Hisao completely....

Re: A Wedding with Lilly
This was my request. I like the way it came out, too. Not what I was expecting. Characters were quite in character though, Emi especially. Glad you like it. Sorry it wasn't what you were expecting. I get a lot of that when I do requests off of /vg/: "I like it, but it wasn't what I was expecti...

Re: Ten Summers Later
I knew I was going to get some Hanabros pissed off with the M. Night turn around at the beginning, but after all Lilly is cannon Meh, they have no reason to be. There are five canon pairings in HS and at least a half-dozen more on top of that if you're willing to reach a bit; anyone who's stuck on ...

Re: With Apologies To Harlan Ellison [Spoilers, Gore Discret
There's no way to end it, period, unless you go third person objective or something. I think Harlan Ellison would beg to differ with you on that. The story that inspired this one didn't end happily, but it most certainly came to a satisfactory end. It was also much shorter and didn't involve much i...

Re: 2400 words from a path never written.
I figured that what happened in that scene was probably an acceleration of her condition that prevents her from going back to school or something. She's still got years/decades left, but in a greatly reduced condition, possibly confined to a wheelchair now, and is driving her "boyfriend" ...
