But the nurse specifically tells you not to push yourself. The first time I played through the game, I honestly thought choosing the option to race Emi would immediately end in my death! It baffles me that so many people choose that option. Wanted to impress the girl, as so often in life  I mu...

And taking it more serious, aren't you rather developing a case of internetism/doctorhousism? Do you have some medical oppinion about your arhythmia? Yep, the doctor said that some medicine I take every day is slightly cardiotoxic and can cause arrythmia if taken for a long time. And in my case it ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Know the pain, since I'm quite a Kenji without mine, but still... loosing glasses is hard, even for an extreme myope (at some point it's getting harder still, since one can't get very far from the place he left his glasses). Pretty easy for me, since I am not that shortsighted and don't need my gla...

Down as well - with biking that is, but for a far more idiotic reason: I cannot find my glasses. Walking without them is manageable, but riding a bike becomes too dangerous. Actually, running also doesn't work.

Emi, absolutely. She is the kind of person I would need most as a best friend right now. Not a lover, mind you, but a best friend indeed.

I'll say this once. F*ck the public health issue. Government shouldn't be taking responsibility for everyones health, somewhere you have to be personally responsible or you might as well be living in the gulag. Dude, grow up, there is a world of difference between these two things. Anyway, health i...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
The saddle difference between men and women is not as large as you think. You just have to position the saddle straight and high enough and the width also has to be right. If the saddle is uncomfortable, then it will be uncomfortable for both sexes. Just remember, it is a saddle, not a seat, so the ...

Bike isn't light on the knees at all, as I have found out. Go to the doctor to be sure, let it heal until it is completely healed, then start lightly again, or the injury comes back with a vengeance. Oh yes, and consider different shoes that force you to run correctly. Something like Nike Free.

Yep, the last minutes always go on the sheer force of willpower
By the way, Emi was right, a slow pace with the hands behind the head really helps to catch the breath again.

There was something I read about a depression, that has helped me to cheer up:
"If the life doesn't make any sense, then nurturing a depression is twice as senseless".
Hm, that sound better in Russian, to be honest

On the way home I got two cramps in the same calf :? Still finished the course, didn't want to disappoint Emi. 16 km steady uphill, a fatso, on a heavy mtb and with a full backpack. The bike computer said that I lost 1100 kkal during that ride, and these Polar bike computers are pretty close-fisted....

Well, yes, I guess people who say this want to give other some sense of perspective, but to me , it still feels like "Shadenfreude", so that's why I feel such an approach doesn't work for me. It doesn't work for anyone. Even now, when I write that I had it comparably easy in comparison to...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
I agree other people are too fast in saying "look how there are other people who suffer more". While that is true, it doesn't make me feel better. I don't think that it is meant this way. The people don't know how to handle this and so the only thing they can think of is trying to put a p...
