Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Fell from the bike this morning, couldn't get out of the cleat pedal in time when I had to stop :(
Hurt myself and hurt my bike, the real derailer was so bent it hit the spokes. Had to forcibly unbent it so I could continue the ride to work.

And as always after a fall on the hands the elbow hurts.

Aw crap, my leg muscles ache like hell after yesterday, but I am in a real mood for a hike, even if I know I have to rest today. Help

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I remember staying a week in Germany and the surrounding forest had that same vibe going on. Forgot the nearest towns' name but it's where they brew the Bittburger beer :p maybe it's close by where you took that hike? Bitburger brewery is large, so they brew in a lot of towns. But if you mean the t...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Here in Germany it is impossible to get lost, the population density is so high, that no matter how much you try to avoid other people, you can't. Besides, I always have got navigation with me, I am not that crazy  The danger is surely higher, though, no question about that. When my luck fina...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I am too heavy for running, I hike in the mountains and I bike. Biking will be fine, I guess. But no sports tomorrow, that's for sure. By the way, here is a small impression of the hike, pretty eerie, isn't it? https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-C12s9riP0og/T3c5bU7ztII/AAAAAAAAAyc/ndGFRuDSZpY/s1024/...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Back from the four hour mountain tour today. Chose the wrong pair of boots and paid the blood price for that.
But still, I did it, I was on the top! Used the paths only on the way down to spare the knees, but on the way to the top I went as straight up as it was possible.

Re: Should I finish Emi's path?

@ Oddball: Emi's route affected me more than any other route. Probably because it reminded me of my own life. Same here, actually, but for different reasons - it made me realise what utter failure I was with my life, that even a girl without legs could manage better than me. And now I make Emi proud.

Re: In a year of so will you still play this game?

I have replayed all visual novels I liked, some even more than once. Don't see why Katawa Shoujo should be an exception to this rule.

Glad that I am not the only cyclist here. Also for similar reasons (knee injury).

by the way, runner dudes, check this out, maybe that's interesting to you:

Taijiquan techniques are pretty useful, used to do the standard 24 forms many years ago.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Hehe, a good thing, though.
Go for an easy walk, then. There is a reason why "recovery workout" exists. And after airing your head a little you'll think better anyway.
