Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Because it would not be chocolate anymore. Chocolate is by its very definition made of cocoa butter and cocoa powder. Sugar is optional, though, so you can buy something like Lindt 99% cocoa chocolate. It is really damn bitter and very dry, though. To me, personally, the optimal cocoa content is 75%...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Edit: You're Euro-katawan as well, what brand should I look for. Can make another test as well. No brands, but sophisticated tea shops are more like the place to look for better tea. Hm, since you are a self described sweet addict, maybe you can start the easy way with a tea that won't be spoiled b...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

You know, I have heard that story about tea from so many people over the course of the years. Almost every time it was really just a matter of either bad quality tea or wrong stepping procedure. You don't have to be a tea connoisseur to taste the difference, really. So yes, low grade tea is only tas...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

I had my fair share of difficulties with that, too. But for the exams I just said "screw it, sticks and stones, and besides, the faster I am finished with school, the sooner I don't see these scumbags anymore".

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Tea brewed in a french press is just a bit stronger than the one stepped in a teapot with enough room for the leaves to unroll, but not tastier. Oolong is maybe the most varied type of tea, both in looks and in taste. Definitely give it a try. Allow the water to cool down for a few minutes just in c...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Real tea, dude. Anyway, if you satisfy your sweet tooth again and again many times a day, you get too used to the sweet taste and need more and more sugar to achieve the same effect. When you cut the sugar down (way way down in your case), sweet stuff suddenly starts being far more satisfying. And y...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

We can get better, I do really think so. Some of us just need a nice kick in the arse and this "cripple porn game" was exactly that, however strange it seems to be.

Re: How did you find KS/Initial response

An old pal recommended it to me, since he knew I was into visual novels and he saw that this one has got a lot of seeders on pirate bay. So I gave it a try, thought at first "ah, another of these school days visual novels, just with a twist", but soon enough I realised that it was the best...

Re: Hisao and his physical health

Well, i think it is implied that Hisao has been training with Emi for months and was far more responsible with his medicine, so it is understandable.

Re: Pronunciation of names?

Why don't you just use IPA for pronounciation instead of the very ambiguous "english" syllables?

I think (okay, I hope) that was something that finally drove the point home. Seeing the picknick on the mountain at the end, I think Hisao couldn't climb that high untrained. I know, wishful thinking.

That happens often enough in translations. Always funny when it is full voiced in Japanese and you hear what they actually say.

Thanks and congratulations!

Runner's high is only possible for sprints, from what I know, though.
