Not sure if this is the right place for it, but. . .
Some persons asked me to let you guys know if I started a new, non-KS related project.

Re: A Bowl of Noodles, a Cup of Coffee, a Glass of Beer
Every reference I see to Keiji Mutou, this is the guy I see in my head: http://www.japanupdate.com/img/2013/03/MutohKeiji2.jpg Keiji Mutoh, more widely known as The Great Muta, professional wrestler/promoter. Put him in a trench coat and make his beard less white and that's actually pretty accurate.

Also it is not unheard of in Japan for the husband to take his wife's name.

Re: Summer By The Sea [A sorta-sequel to Weekend at Hisao's]
Wonderful scene. Very moving. Maybe this goes to the 'sorta-sequel' nature of this, but you've contradicted something from Weekend at Hisao's . In the post I've linked to, you mention Shizune's mom putting a stop to the speaking lessons, and that Shizune had 12 years of lessons. But apparently ...

Re: Summer By The Sea [A sorta-sequel to Weekend at Hisao's]
[Someone's already been here,] I sign to Hisao, as we approach the grave stone. [Looks like the place has been cleaned up a bit.] Hideaki says something to my boyfriend, who nods and signs to me. [Hideaki says that your father came here the day you arrived.] Ah. That makes sense. That would probably ...

Re: Summer By The Sea [A sorta-sequel to Weekend at Hisao's]
[Please at least tell me that they're getting along.] [They seem to be doing fine,] Hisao signs to me reassuringly. [They're talking about their jobs and families.] [It's only a matter of time before my Dad brings up his autobiography. Then they will die of boredom.] [Be nice. You're so cranky and ...

Re: Summer By The Sea [A sorta-sequel to Weekend at Hisao's]
[If you don't take me behind that bush and fuck me right now, I think I'm going to scream. I'm fucking serious.] [I love you too, dear,] is Hisao's only reply, before taking my hands in his and giving me a small, but loving kiss on the lips. Oooh. Nice. I'd forgotten how nice he tastes. I'm trying ...

I'm still working on the next installment. . . (I had to make an unexpected move from a house to an apartment) but how the hell are there three pages of comments on one short section?

Re: Summer By The Sea [A sorta-sequel to Weekend at Hisao's]
While it is conceivable that Shizune would think this way, it would likely imply a sense of significant shame about her deafness. I don't really see why this should be. Most KS characters think of their disability as some sort of "condition", and with the exception of Hisao and Hanako they are not ...

Re: When Hisao was Rin
On a side note, unless you want to make a really shitty cake, you don't put all the ingredients together at once. You add them one at a time in order, making sure that they are incorporated properly. So Rin is right for once.

Sad Hanako in Snow
A light breeze causes the naked branches outside my window to rattle like wooden windchimes. In the summer, the deciduous trees outside my window provided a beautiful green canopy, shading my room from the harsh summer sun. But now, in late winter, the bare branches appear stark and black against ...

Re: The Most Surprising Thing (Now With Art Added!)
Was thrown off a bit until I realized that this story was written before KS actually came out and we found out the truth about various character's orientations.
That said, I really enjoyed it.
