At first, I didn't really find it at all believable that Mrs. Satou would put up with a husband like that when she herself seemed rather kind, but further elaboration on why he acted the way he did resolved ...

These are awesome, man! It's such a relief to find a story about rin that isn't horribly depressing, but is still meaningful. The story really evokes genuine happiness for me, and I'm sure plenty of others. Please, keep up the great work!
