Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Ch.51 posted 10/

Ah, yes. My paranoid delusion of everything hitting the fan again has been averted once more. These past few chapters I've only been thinking about how everything could go wrong , but it seems that we are indeed on the home stretch. Things from hereon out seem like they are going to be relatively st...

Re: The Library Anniversarie Collection

Hm. I don't really know what to think of it. Some of the decisions seemed almost arbitrary. The dead wife could quite literally be just about anyone, even someone that isn't one of the girls... and well, Suzu could have been just about anyone else, and the story would not have really changed for it....

Re: The Library Anniversarie Collection

I never thought I would ever see the word "schlong" used in a serious context. And by that, I mean that this is probably exactly the kind of story that would use the word "schlong" in a serious context. I take that back. This is in a long line of stories that use the word "s...

Slaughterhouse-Five is a real trip. Well, just about anything written by Vonnegut is. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Re: Sisterhood: True Edition (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

Well, it cost me a few hours of sleep, but I’ve managed to read this from beginning to end. Here is that not-half-assed opinion I promised. I can say now that my fears of you having "jumped the shark" were misplaced. If anything, the overall quality of the story and writing remained consis...

Kenji dialogue, as written by dewelar. And hell hasn't even frozen over yet.

Re: The Library Anniversarie Collection

Hell, even a kiss would have been overdoing it. But you spared those beanbag chairs from a terrible fate. Hm. If that weren't the case, I wonder if the trust fund would have replaced them... 8)

Re: The Library Anniversarie Collection

I liked it - it was sweet and got its point across. It was nice seeing two old friends discussing past conflicts like adults. I admit that I am grateful that it didn't snowball into a Hisao x Hanako romance right away like similar fics have done. This particular scenario certainly leaves room for th...

Re: Sisterhood: True Edition (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

I wasn't a big, big fan of the original, but I did think it held up rather well. This however... I'm working my way through it slowly and methodically, but I can't help but worry that you've jumped the shark. The original chapters wrapped up so nicely, perfectly keeping true to the story's name, but...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Ch.50 posted 9/1

Ahhh... Silly, far-fetched predictions aside, I suppose this was the inevitable outcome. I'm glad to see that Hisao and Lilly's conversation went smoothly - they really are adults. I really do hope that Hanako can pull herself together and salvage her friendship with Lilly, while still being able to...

Re: Disheveled [Ch. 3, 9/18]

Aaaaand we're back. ...wait a minute. This isn't a new chapter! Or is it? I honestly never did get around to trying to read the chapter as it was before again - a shame, since I wanted to verify whether it was your writing or my own odd perception that was making it a little hard to read. Especially...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Turn to stone)

Then I should suppose that if a great fanfic author ever attempted to write a Miki route, then the entire fandom would collapse into a singularity.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Turn to stone)

This is one of those cases where I wish I did not have a head canon. Miki just struck me as being far too cynical and rough around the edges, beating out even Hisao in that regard. A consequence of course, of a hinted at backstory that was a little too gritty for my liking. It did not strike out at ...
