Re: Anyone with Long QT Syndrome specifically?
Medicines that I take personally include: Beta Blockers: Mexiletine x 2 morning, and afternoon and Propranolol x 2 morning an afternoon and Potassium pills 1 and 1 (I forget to take these quite a bit). The doc says that we can take a fish oil supplement if we want, but that stuff stinks. Have you ...

Re: Anyone with Long QT Syndrome specifically?
I was pretty sure it was mentioned specifically in KS, at one point.. but now I'm not 100% sure.

Re: Anyone with Long QT Syndrome specifically?
If anyone has any more questions about Long QT I'll gladly answer. Do you take regular medication for your Long QT, or do any of your sisters? If you do, is it anywhere near Hisao's 17 pills a day? My dad had a heart attack in 2009 and takes a few pills every day now (around 5 or 6, I think), so 17 ...

Re: Which is the saddest ending?
So far the ones that upset me the most were Emi's bad ending (it was the first character I played through, which may have had something to do with it) and Hanako's bad ending; mostly the part where she yells about hating Lilly - hating Hisao wasn't as bad for me, but poor Lilly has tried so hard to ...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
Going through again to play Lilly's path, I paid a little more attention to Hisao's first interaction with Rin.
She seems far more relaxed and easygoing in this part. It's a kind of strange change to how she is in the rest of her story arc.

Re: Anyone with Long QT Syndrome specifically?
If it's not a bother, I would really like to know how your problems affect you, how they materialize and the consequences. That could give me a better idea of what I might have, and if there is anything in particular that I should do. I rarely have pain in that area, and if I ever do, it's not ...

Re: ...Damn.
There are certain things (generally shows, music or games) that I mentally tag as things I don't want to think about a lot while I'm trying to sleep, and I can't really pinpoint why. Katawa Shoujo is one of them, and it sucks because I'll sometimes be playing until 4am, I'll try to sleep but my mind ...

Re: Shizune's path
This path was enjoyable for me, but the relationship between Shizune and Hisao felt really odd and forced at some points. At the festival, it was suddenly "do you want to be my girlfriend?" , then almost no romantic interactions for a while, then suddenly she bursts into his room at her house and ...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
I played through Rin's path third (after finishing all endings for Emi, then Shizune). She frustrated me quite a bit. I was sort of expecting a happy ending, similar to Emi's (I'm holding them all up to that standard :P), so to go on for so long and for Rin to just seem to stay the same or get worse ...

Re: Anyone with Long QT Syndrome specifically?
Signed up specifically so I could reply to this thread. I don't have Long QT Syndrome (sorry), but like you, I have Mitral Valve Prolapse (as far as I can tell). I was never specifically told that it was that under that name, just that my mitral valve is leaky and that the blood regurgitates between ...
