Wow...I found her to be funny throughout despite the dark times. But, my humor (and my friends) tends towards the odd and absurd just as hers does. We are (mostly) musicians though.

Oh, with that I will agree. You just don't expect to get that much real emotion from a VN and it can really blindside you. Each path since has been a bit less overwhelming.

I half expected her to become a romantic interest. I thought she was adorkable.

Aerin, I think Emi may surprise you. It starts off pretty fluffy...but once things get serious, no surprises, but their is more depth than their appears to her.

Why is everyone so worried about Hanako? She actually does better in Lilly's route then her own. Isn't the whole point of her route that she doesn't need to be rescued?

But Hisao realizes that as well, which I think is the point. Remember in Lilly's route Hanako starts to blossom AFTER the point ...

I'm glad. I wish VNs would get more attention. I wish more people would realize that they exist and also at the same time enjoy them. But I'm not sure why I'd wish that. Strange... Perhaps it's because I and everyone else here knows that VNs are ...

Felt kind of the same way at first. Finished Lilly first then on to Hanako since the two were so closely tied together. After that, I was able to distance myself from the story more and went on to finish Emi then Rin. Honestly wanted Rin FIRST, but ended up with Lilly...can't say I minded. Still ...

Very good point. Makes me think that things aren't really different, its just that her facade is hard to get beyond. She may seem calm, but once you actually start to understand her...theirs a lot more going on below the surface.

Just hit chapter 3 so skipping most of this to avoid spoilers. The scene in the atelier (which felt awkward but...somehow right). Anyway...hope I'm on the right path for the good ending, but I honestly just can not tell. Its been touching in a VERY different way from the other paths. Frustrating too ...

Totally agree with Trekki. Its just how she is. Totally fit the character to me.
