There was an article about KS on The Escapist which drew my attention. I read the article and there was a link to KS, which was clicked by me immediately. ^^
But the server was a bit overloaded on that day, so I had to wait almost two days until I could download KS. But it was worth it.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Setting it to 100% means it will try to use 100% of the not allocated computing power. You can still do other work, even on a single core computer. The client will automatically scale down when another process is started. Ah, okay. I read that somewhere but forgot ^^ Thx for reminding. Yeah, I know ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Well, I'm running the singlecore-client (or what the standard-client is) on a quadcore, so I can set it to 100% and still do work while it's folding in teh background. This way I can run it at work. Was trying to run teh GPU client, but my GPU started making strange noises...gave me tinnitus after a ...

Re: Is feeling a bit depressed after playing normal?
I'm not entirely sure what a "normal" reaction is in this case, but it's true that a lot of people seem to be strongly affected emotionally. That said, it's something that really needs to be turned toward a positive direction: rather than brood, take this emotional energy and do something with it ...

Re: If you were Hisao...
Hmm...interesting thread. Well, I'm an introverted person, I don't like to be in crowds, I am stressed when I'm out of my territory. Others often call me 'pessimistic', but I prefer 'realistic'. But strange enough I can get along with almost everyone I meet. Especially kids and old people seem to ...

Re: Can't remember the last time a game touched me like this
Yeah, I can only agree. I got all the good endings, but I probably will never complete all the pictures, because I don't feel the least urge to get a bad ending. At the moment I'm just sitting around and listening to the soundtrack. And with the snowstorm I can see out of the window, it's a bit ...

Re: Creation of a new (original) VN
If anyone is actually interested a me and a couple members have already started discussing another visual novel based in the KS universe using PM, if you are even slightly interested in what we have come up with give me a PM and I'll send you our early ideas, concept sketch, etc. I feel this is a ...

Re: This game has destroyed my head...
I want to share a secret with you all I got from a reliable source: Katawa Shoujo is a clever ploy of the feminist conspiracy to get all men weak and emotional in order for them to be easily subdued. If this trend continues they will take over soon, so get your act together guys or this will be the ...

Re: More of Miki
When she showed up while I was doing Hanako's path, i also though it would be nice if Miki had her own path, since she seemed to be a has-it-together, rough and tumble type of girl. Exactly what I thought. Then I thought about how the game was constructed, and probably would have been equally happy ...

Re: This game has destroyed my head...
Somehow I agree with the OP. This game caused me more sleepless nights than my exams did... If I read a good book, it can happen that I almost start crying at sad parts of the story. Wanna know why? If I read a book which is good written, I don't simply read it. It's more like mental cinema. It's ...
