Re: ks apparel
This... is actually a cool idea. And you can get custom T-shirts and keychains etc made with assorted websites, vistaprint, cafepress etc etc. Just google and you can find loads of sites that'll take a design, print it to your specifications and send it to your door for maybe £20 or so. Not breaking...

Re: Color "Blindness"
Eh, in the main it's not so bad IMHo. AFAIK, only one question is asked (Hanako's hair colour?), or at least the two times I've been asked a question it's been the same question. If you register on the forums, you don't get questioned after that either, and I found the answer on the first hit when I...

Re: Would Katawa Shoujo have worked as a written novel?
Although when I thought about it, I couldn't really imagine her giving any other kind of answer. It's a real shame, I was looking forward to having a set of physical KS books I could read.

Re: One final run, before uninstalling.
Why the hell would I want to uninstall it? :S I'm aiming to play it through until the end (saving Rin's path for a rainy day ^_^). I then intend to play Emi's and Lilly's paths through again, at the very least (but I'm most likely going to play through them all again, and Emi/Lilly's paths a third t...

Re: The game that changes lives ??
just find it hard to believe that what some ppl are saying how much the game itself changed them ... i find it the same as a person saying the gran trismo series makes me a better driver For the more radical cases, I think a combination of people jumping on the bandwagon "Yea, it changed MY LI...

Re: The game that changes lives ??
KS isn't magical, obviously. You don't read the story, and then find that suddenly, you're massively more positive, dedicated to your life, stronger, braver, can fly and wish Emi was your waifu. What it does do incredibly well is help you to relate to the characters, flesh them out so they feel real...

Re: Would Katawa Shoujo have worked as a written novel?
Auto mode is dangerous... if you miss a word, or can't quite get it fast enough then you waste a lot more time trying to go back and refind your place and sort things out again. Plus, not sure how much of a gap it leaves at the end of the line before advancing to the next. I've tried transcribing so...

Re: Would Katawa Shoujo have worked as a written novel?
Well, if I were to just copy everything I'd probably be faster, but I'm writing it into another language. Jellyfish-ojii said he was adding in descriptions, so maybe that's comparable. For me it would be harder, because I suck at descriptions^^° Yea, that makes sense then. I thought you were just t...

Re: It's Valentine's Day!! Who's girl you want to date with?
An interesting subject to consider: how would each character go on a Valentine's Day date with Hisao, assuming he reached their path's Good Ending and they stayed together long enough (which I assume all of them did, in the Good Ending): Hanako seems like the type who might enjoy films. A movie the...

Re: Would Katawa Shoujo have worked as a written novel?
To me, the point of this was to have a printed, published booklet I could hold at the end of it ^_^ If I only wanted a .doc file to read on the computer, I might as well just read the VN. Also, two hours to write a chapter? Is that an act, or each section of the act? I can definitely recommend using...

Re: ~Poll~ Who is your favorite?
Emi is my favourite, because her strength of character and determination to keep pushing herself on is an inspiration to me, something I wish I had more of in myself. Lilly is my favourite, because in a way she reminds me a little of myself as I appear on the outside, and is the character I would be...
