Re: Your natural choice
I would have probably gone into Hanako's route on my first try if I didn't decide to just go after Emi instead after recognizing the "Go for it" option as a flag for Emi.

Re: Misha's disabillity?
At some point during Lilly's route, Hisao mentions that Yamaku High will accept any student, even if they're not disabled in the least.
Therefore, Misha could probably have been Shizune's childhood friend or something who doubles as an interpreter and thus had to tag along with Shizune when she ...

Re: The Path(s) Not Taken
Actually, I wonder what happens to the school and the other characters after the "manly picnic" bad end.
Kenji mourns the loss of a valuable comrade.
Any girl who's taken a liking to Hisao would be inconsolable for a while, and the ever-cheerful Misha may actually be depressed for multiple days ...

The v1.0 gives me some hope for content patches though. *Emi's puppy dog eyes*

UMM. I got drunk with Kenji and died. I didn't even have a choice in the matter. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN WHAT WHY

What. Did no one notice the gender-flipped Suzumiya Haruhi (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuu'utsu, obviously) in the front row, and Otonashi Yuzuru (Angel Beats!) in the back?
Oh, and Tainaka Ritsu (K-ON!) partially obscured by Shizune?

Re: Could Katawa Shoujo ever be an anime?
In terms of content, I believe it would make a fairly good anime (if the H-scenes are cut). I can visualize Hisao running after Lilly, then succumbing to his heart attack and collapsing on the ground. Though in my mind, he just screams her name once, faltering at the end, before collapsing and ...

Re: Timeline?
Judging from what Misha says in some routes, Iwanako's letter probably always arrives at the school at roughly the same time, it's when Hisao receives it that's the problem, seeing as he's out for a while when the deaf-mute & motormouth duo come knocking on certain routes, while on others they catch ...

Re: Lilly's Route
Agreed Infert. I think the biggest thing behind that is how intuitive they made each decision by the dialog prior. Lilly's story just killed me. I've thought of nothing but my ex fiancee now for the last 3 days. Trying to get Hanako's story done but every time Lilly appears I need to stop and ...

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)
The devs also mentioned before (I believe) that Emi is older than Hisao
Yeah, she's one year older than Hisao as she missed out on school (presumably about a year of it) due to the accident that took her legs, and the subsequent recuperation and rehabilitation. Naturally, when it came to ...

Re: KS school
Speaking of the backgrounds, I would have very much preferred them to have been all drawn, since the disparity between the characters and the backgrounds...is a little jarring. Not to mention that it's reminiscent of those cheap flash dating sims.
That said, it's a trivial matter made up for by the ...

Re: Post Credit?
Seeing as the dev team's got their eye on this thread, I think I'll just throw this idea I just got out there. No idea how difficult it is, or if it's even possible to do so without a massive risk of causing bugs, but adding an epilogue scene after the credits for every route that only unlocks ...

Re: Lilly's Route
Lilly's route is simply amazing, though I would have preferred Hisao's chase scene to last a little longer, by virtue of him attempting to will his heart into behaving but ultimately failing.
Though I'm not exactly fond of Lilly as a character, her Good End is probably the best one thus far.

It plays during the credits, so you should have it....
Thanks. I had always used the skip button on the end credits. Apparently you have to let the whole thing play out to get the song unlocked.
