Re: Katawa Shoujo Soundtrack Up for Download

Finally! I love the music and have been waiting for the OST release since I first played the games.

Re: A Week of Memories part 2: Mike

I thought the animations were a pleasant surprise and was wondering how much work it took to implement them. Would have never guessed it took that long, which makes it all the more impressive. Good job, Mike.

Re: One Week's Worth of Memories, part 1

Just wanted to give my thanks (again) to 4LS for making this incredible project possible. It is not often that I play/read/experience something this good, and it is almost never that said project was released for free by the people who worked so hard on it. I thought Hanako's route in particular was ...

4LS have already said there won't be a sequel.

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

Got kinda mixed feelings about this path. A part of me thinks it ended in the right place, with the whole 'finally accepting ones' faults/issues and now will over come them.' style ending. While another part feels a little cheated that nothing went beyond that. It would have been nice to see what ...

Re: Online Japanese KS reception

Sankaku Complex has a known history of ridiculous sensationalism to make their articles more popular. It looks like this is just another one. I personally don't trust anything the site says.

Re: Emi's path ending... some questions?

Here's how it works. -snip- Actually, you don't even get the option to talk to the Nurse about Emi if you don't talk with Mutou, which obviously means you don't get to talk to her mom. Anyway, seems Emi's route is the easiest to stumble into. I mean, the choices you have to pick are the most ...

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

Has anyone else played Shiznue's route and seen the scene where Hanako and Shiznue play chess? I felt so bad for her after they switched to speed chess and she got destroyed. She didn't even get her ID! It's interesting (though depressing, since she is my favorite) to see how she is portrayed ...

Re: Shizune's path

I just finished this. Shizune's route marks my second, with Hanako being my first. I find it a bit interesting, that while the people in the Hanako thread seem to be showing universal appraisal, the reaction here seems a bit more mixed. There are also seems to be a fair number of people saying that ...

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

the scars on her body looked more like beautiful painting/tattoo rather than real scars like the one on the face. They weren't disturbing or shocking at all. Maybe it's just art, maybe towards the end I felt love in her so it didn't matter, or both. Agreed. Maybe I was just too attached to her by ...

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

I seriously don't recommend this route if you're playing it for the first time, after finishing Hanako's route (getting the good ending on the first try), I just can't continue on the other routes, every time I see Hanako I always feel uneasy. Don't get me wrong, the whole route was great, no, not ...

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

I had to make an account here to leave a bit of feedback on this. I've only played Hanako's route so far. I've been absolutely blown away by the awesome work of 4LS. I wasn't really sure what to expect playing an independent production like this, to be honest, but you guys have really exceeded my ...
