Re: Iwanako's Letter
Each path represents a new way that Hisao comes looks at himself, his condition, and his past. It makes sense that he would draw different wisdom or value from a letter of this gravity based based how his current relationship has changed his outlook on life. Personally, I think that Iwanako's ...

Re: Rin's Bad End... Her True End?
Anyways, you can't really say that you wouldn't have acted in the same way. I mean, I'll be the first person to say that I don't think realism in a story is necessarily a good thing, but at the same time I don't think you should act like you're better than Hisao, thinking you'd act differently in ...

Re: Paths you would play again?
If I'm randomly trying to find something to do? Never. They're too long and emotionally straining to just take on when I'm a little bored. That said, I don't doubt for a moment I'll go back and replay all of them, probably a number of times. Like someone else said, it's like going back and ...

Re: Paths you would play again?
This is not a VN you play while "randomly trying to find something to do". Too emotional for that... Though if I wanted to bring up those emotions again: Rin, or Hanako. Maybe Lilly (though you only really feel it in a few non-sex scenes). (Same goes for Emi, though it's mostly more lighthearted ...

Re: If you were given a chance to add/change Ending *spoiler
The devs might shun me for this post, but if I had a chance, I'd add epilogues for the remaining routes... just for completeness and equality between routes (in terms of length) I think 75% of us, at least, would want this. (Though it's not something I'd expect of the devs, and it might not even be ...

Re: Timeline?
A good basic start would to be set up several lines, each one representing a character, and then work from that. Going by events may be the best choice, since the letter would run across each allowing a "somewhat" broad idea of when it happened. Lily's ending would be the last bit, since it occurs ...

Re: Emotional Impact
Um... dude. It's a great game, yes, and very moving, but get a grip. These are fictional characters. The drawings look good, and the personalities are well-crafted, but they are not real people. Getting emotionally attached to them is standard practice in fiction, as is drawing inspiration from ...

Re: Has anyone else appreciated the music this much?
The music files (OST?) are available if you google it. I think they are in .ogg format; 140kbs CBR, if I recall correctly. The speeding up portion in "Stride" always caused me to be apprehensive for some reason... because I think all the grim parts of the music were much more meaningful than the ...

Re: Timeline?
If there are different times for the same event based on the route (though, presumably, the devs tried to sync those things up), that should be noted in this timeline that whoever's making. Maybe color code events by route?

Re: Post Credit?
One of the interesting things about this game is that the relationships don't just differ by who you end up with: the relationship dynamics are also very different between them. Lilly's is the only route with a post-credits epilogue, but it's also the only one where an epilogue is really necessary ...

Re: If you had a story Arc in KS...
It's hard to title my Acts when I don't feel like I've reached some sort of contentment, or a logical conclusion of my character progression. At best, I'd be able to title my Act 2 (but I don't know *what* the title would be without knowing where I'll end up).

The music is *too* good. I can't listen to half of it without feeling emotional...

Re: Mirrors of the Sun
Old though it may be, it's still pretty well-written. And better-titled.
