Re: Katawa Shoujo Soundtrack Up for Download
2014 Edit: Ehh... depending on how one looks at it my post could come off as dick-ish. I apologize if it was perceived as such. So future-proofing means nothing? Then I guess it IS wrong to wish for humanity to have better things, no matter how small it is... It truly would seem that the nail that ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Soundtrack Up for Download
2014 Edit: OK so I didn't quite sound like a dick in this post, but I made a (poor) assumption, and that's something one should never do on the internet. I apologize for failing at that. Surprised you didn't make it a torrent, the site seems to be constantly taking a hammering. This. It's the only ...

2014 Edit: Holy crap did I come off sounding like a dick. I profusely apologize. I don't fucking care what morons like you want. ...seriously? That's how we're going to be treated? I thought you guys got over the "game god" ego as Sean Malstrom calls it, but I guess not...If that's how you guys are ...

Re: A Week of Memories part 7: Graduation
The point about this being an ending and completion of working on a project together? Yes, but I still don't like using the analogy of graduation. In this case, I see it more along the lines of finishing a group school project rather than completing school itself. In particular, it's not like ...

Re: A Week of Memories part 7: Graduation
Unlike what I assume to be everyone else, I'm not in a sad or bittersweet mood or anything. In fact, this post was disappointing to me... Basically, it boiled down to 2 things, the first being the dislike of winter and night in general. I am the exact opposite - I think a moonlit winter night is one ...

"Crowd chatter" sound is distracting! + words & phrases said
Maybe I just can't read and listen to someone at the same time, but it's really quite distracting and makes the text harder to read... I'd imagine it wouldn't be a problem if it weren't in English, but not much you can do about that. :P Anyway, the most obvious words/phrases in the chatter has to be ...

Re: What display setup do you use for reading KS?
CRT 1024x768 windowed with me sitting really awkwardly on the edge of my seat and probably being way too close to the monitor without realizing it. Then why aren't you running fullscreen? Not only would you not have to be awkwardly on the edge of your seat, but CRTs can even display 800x600 ...

Re: What display setup do you use for reading KS?
This is a total noob question but how do you get the game into full screen preserved ratio? I just got super stretchy or windowed. If you have an ATI/AMD (Radeon) GPU (make sure you're using newer drivers!): http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=260&threadid=136578&forumid=11 If you have ...

Re: What display setup do you use for reading KS?
How do I maintain aspect ratio and still have it in fullscreen? Other games will stay as 4:3 even when in fullscreen mode on this 1920x1080 monitor, but this one stretches out. There's no option in the scaling part of my graphics card settings (ATI HD 5000 series) and my monitor's only two settings ...

Re: Is it portable?
I just somehow missed that before. That's awesome! I'll give it a quick whirl and see if it is truly portable now (AKA doesn't touch my HDDs at all). Though I've already set up the imaged ramdisk for AppData >_>. Perhaps it'll help with other programs... EDIT: I just want to confirm that it ...

Re: I think you missed one! (audio waveform clipping)
Naw, the first thing I did was see if the program could be run portable-ly from a flash drive, but alas the saves always go to 'Application Data'. So I was going to wait until tomorrow to really start reading, since I need to make a small RamDisk for AppData so that my HDD doesn't have to run and be ...
