The fact that the last scene of Lilly's story is after the credit roll means absolutely nothing. It set a precedent. The devs are willing and able to put story elements after the credits, with a very large amount of time in between them. It's quite possible that Hanako is better off in Lilly's path...

I've recently noticed one thing about Katawa Shoujo that is, quite honestly, more than a bit concerning. Lilly is the only route that has an epilogue after the best end.
It's pretty stupid, and implies that the devs favor her as the canon route.

I think they're actually pron prawn. There's also cuttlefish, cantaloupes, and a mouse, apparently randomized. I don't know why.
