Re: Hanako's burns
If she looked "that" bad she would have gotten some kind of plastic surgery, or maybe worn some kind of mask.

Anyone want to take part in a new community collaboration?
I'm involved with one in the moment. I think Katawa Shoujo was kind of cool because it was a gathering of all kinds of people and almost felt like a community effort. We're designing a kind of modular VN, it's a bit looser than KS in some ways and should (hopefully) have a smoother development cycle ...

Sankakucomplex is dick. There could have been thousands or responsives and they picked the most troll-like.

Re: Save files?
I played Act 1 from the demo though. Unless it's changed significantly, I don't want to sit through it again.

Save files?
I'm only just starting the full version of KS and it's frustrating having to CTRL through the scenes several times. Does anyone have save files for the start of each of the girls routes? Thanks!

Re: Shizune's path
I really don't like Misha's haircut :/ It just doesn't suit her face shape at all and the hairclip looks tacky at all hell. I actually feel a little nauseous trying to look at it sometimes, there's something just to off about it, like it's been copy and pasted on in a slightly wrong way. I think it ...

Re: Recommend a VN
Particularly interested in OELVN recommendations, what should I look for? I've seen some really cool ones that just take one simple idea and run with it, wish I'd have written them down.

I imagine he'd be pretty much a sexist Alex Jones.

Re: Recommend a VN
Also if nobody's mentioned it, while not a traditional VN, Digital: A Love Story. That's a pretty good one. A bit hard once you get to a certain point but you can just go around it by saving then loading. Made by the same person who did "don't take it personally babe, it's just not your story" if I ...

Re: Recommend a VN
Though this post might not be helpful as I'll be mentioning a title that would require you to have a very firm and thorough grip on Japanese, try out Forest written by Hoshizora Meteor from Liar-Soft, the company Aura brought up in the mention of the ~WAB~ series. Granted, some simply won't get it ...

Re: Recommend a VN
Totally disagree with the R07 disrecommendations. I think Umineko especially has fallen victim to a small but vocal group of people who pick it apart and greatly overexagerrate it's flaws and have done so in such a harsh manner that makes fans look at it in a negative light. Part of the problem is ...

What do the KS devs use for a repository?
I'm part of a team working on a VN at the moment. It's not as serious as Katawa Shoujo keep in mind, but we'd like to actually get it made instead of talking about it. One guy is insisting on using github but as I can't figure it out and I'm not sure it even works properly on non-unix based systems ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
I was at an aspergers meet recently and there was a girl who was quite a bit like Misha. There was one shy one but the other one couldn't stop talking and was very in your face. Shyness is possibly the most common symptom of Aspergers but for some girls with aspergers the shyness is very situational.
