Re: Fun with the Girls (No NOT THAT)
Actually, they'd all probably enjoy live music, Shizune may just do it to humor you. Or maybe she'd like letting her hair down and dancing to some electronic/club music (since she can feel the ~vibrations~, plus the mental image of Shizune giving you the booty-grind is just too delicious to pass up...

Re: Fun with the Girls (No NOT THAT)
Hanako: Tough one probably a "date" with her would just be her and Hisao enjoying a walk somewhere quiet like a garden or a park. Mostly like after dark so Hanako would be a little less self conscious. Nah, you need to challenge her and get her to come out of her shell. Sure, she probably...

Re: Awesome Idea... Know it's Not Likely Going to Happen, Th
I'm not talking about skipping anything. I just think it'd be neat if a VN came out (obviously not KS, unless the Devs had this idea a LONG time ago, as I said in the OP) with this as an unlockable option where you could simply make all the choices in advance and enjoy the whole thing, or any indivi...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
You know, I've wondered about this thread's popularity for a while as this blog post: http://katawashoujo.blogspot.com/2009/09/thousand-paper-cranes.html left me with the mistaken impression that it was an origami thing. Now that I see that it's an automatic program to try to help figure out the wor...
Re: 3D Emi
Though this is astonishingly excellent work, I wish you'd chosen to go with a more stylized, less realistic look since you're falling directly into the depths of the uncanny valley. CGI isn't advanced enough yet to be indistinguishable from real life, so all the failings that are currently unavoidab...

Re: Katawa Viruses
I have one "The Civil War Virus-A virus in which all of the viruses merge before the computer explodes it hacks the Pentagon launching all the nukes and crashes all the satellites and then sends a message into space saying "Thank you for all the fish.". How the heck does that have an...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Eye color may fit the disease, but there are much simpler reasons for her eyes being amber. Oh, and neumanproductions, I looked up images of the "golden" eye color that occurs with Angelman Syndrome and they affect the sclera (the 'white of the eye'), not the iris as is shown to be amber ...

Re: What you WOULD want to happen in the story
I read that before, and it does reassure me some, but I also saw in another blog post a comment that you and the other path writers were working your own fetishes into it as well. any chance you've got a link to that blog post? 'cause I could see someone saying that the devs were working in their o...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 v5 released!
The only additions to V5 are the three new localizations, so the release is not recommended to those who have played a previous version and can't speak one of the new languages. There are some typo and error fixes in the English and other language scripts, but they are not major Thats from the blog...

Re: What you WOULD want to happen in the story
We just use the term "H-scene" as shorthand for "a scene where sex happens". It doesn't carry any connotations as to the style of said scene, just what happens in it. There's a blog post about the approach to sex taken in the game here . I read that before, and it does reassure ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 v5 released!
Just to be clear, the changes are just additional languages, right? No altered music or sprites or text or anything? I only have a working knowledge of English, so I'm not missing anything if I skip this and just continue to wait for the full release, am I?

Now I'm just imagining a Face-Off movie poster, but with Hanako and some moeblob rather than Cage and Travolta (yes, this summer, Cage is Hanako). Great. Now I'm imagining Hanako yelling "Not the bees! Not the bees!" ...and now I'm imagining Eddie Izzard: "I like my Hanako like I lik...

Re: What you WOULD want to happen in the story
I like that the sex scenes are integrated into the story. In reality, sex isn't some sordid, parallel life - an addiction that you sneak off to sate every so often; it's as much a part of life as eating, drinking, hanging out with friends, going for a walk in the park - whatever. It's actually kind...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Eye color may fit the disease, but there are much simpler reasons for her eyes being amber. Like I said (and linked to a Wikipedia page to back up my claim): amber eyes are 100% natural (if extremely uncommon). They may occur naturally in Japan, but as G3n0c1de said, neither do the hair/eye colors ...
