If you mean that it has been done before and that there is a want for it, then sure, good luck! (I'm not quite familiar with these games, just wanted to give my input.)

If there were only gender-switching, new art accordingly and some minor changes in the scripts then it would be basically the same game. Who would want to play the same game again? I know I wouldn't. And as I read, altering the game is forbidden anyway. So why not make something fresh and creative?

New personalities and some new disabilities would be a must in my opinion. It could take place at the same school, maybe include some references/other stuff related to KS. The real question is if it's worth making it because I can hardly imagine masses playing it since it would be made for females ...
