Re: Katawa Shoujo Valentine Cards! [Hi-Res]
First, I had a moe nosebleed over the lilly card. And then a similar reaction to the rin card. I then nearly died from blood loss from the following nosebleed attacks associated with the remaining cards.

Re: Stop stem cell research? *spoilers and speculation*
This is actually taken from a regular joke made from the way the scout motto "Be prepared" is translated in Finland. Thus, panties with the text: "Always Ready" Yes, that's how it's translated into Finnish. Nope, that doesn't read on scout panties (although they do sell those). ...

Re: Did the game change your real RL attitude towards cripples?
I can't really say. I haven't had a lot of exposure to people with disabilites. I have met a couple of people with disabilities, though. Pretty damn cool people, too. And although I tried not to be a jackass, like most 'regular' people, I am sure I did something unintentionally stupid without knowin...

Re: What you WOULD want to happen in the story
Happy endings for the win! No, seriously, I'm ok if the devs throw in a little realism into any of the endings, but there has to be at least one storybook happy ending or people (like me) will be disappointed. Unbreakable optimism is one of the core ingredients for romance, dontcha know? Well...that...

Re: The Crucible
For the record, I wouldn't whine about a game I hadn't played. I'm not quite that petty. I just felt sorry for all four heroines in the game, 'cause they had to put up with him. And it kinda pissed me off that I had to play him. Anyway, props to whoever put Lian Hearn and 'Across the Nightingale Flo...

Re: The Crucible
Hisao has yet to show his jackassery. What about when he explodes during the 'wrong' choices? Well, if you make the wrong choice, I think that it is somewhat expected that the main character will probably act like a jackass. I try not to complain about stuff like that. My big beef with Brass Restor...

Re: The Crucible
I'm surprised not to see Brass Restoration on there. Somehow, I'm not. My personal opinion is that the KS demo is far superior in graphics, writing, and has a way better (and significantly less whiny) main character. At least hisao doesn't act like a total jackass, unlike ryo, who is a jackass in a...
