Well a harem route just isn't going to happen. But on the other hand there could always be that random wet dream about screwing the harem in there, or perhaps a non cannon extra h-scene for 100% game completion. that's about the only way I think it'd work for KS, since the game's not all about sex....

If you ask me looking only at what gets US releases and patches VNs that start out appearing as a school story when suddenly out of left field supernatural elements come into play (I'm looking at you Key) are more common and cliche than a straight forward school story. Kara no Shoujo came out recently although i personally didn't like it because I like happy endings and even the best ending is hardly satisfying in that regard. If you don't mind playing something that is only partially translated I'd recommend Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai! (http://vndb.org/v1143)...

If I had to guess the amount of soul crushing bullcrap that goes into making something like this probably heavily outways the fun parts so I'd say the devs probably won't make something else solely out of boredom. (not to say they wont do anything just that boredom isn't going to be a large factor.)...

I ended up here after scouring vndb.org for something I hadn't already read. I set the filter to show every VN available in English and Katawa Shoujo was one of the few I hadn't already read. About 15 minutes later I started Act 1.

Clearly your all forgetting the reaction of the most important person, Kenji. After hearing of Hisao's death he would reach the rational conclusion that Hisao died after getting to close to the feminist conspiracy. He would then go on a killing spree.
