Re: Misha's disabillity?
Misha's disability is extreme Shimmie addiction. I mean, just look at how many comments she's made! If we're going this route then we'll have to bring up multiple personality disorder back up. She's always leaving comments replying to her other comments. Actually, it's called Dissociative Identity ...

Re: Shizune's cell phone
Word of God, etc etc, but I was still under the impression that the deaf community was all-up-ons SMS. At least in America, they're very tight-knit. Are Japanese deaf not closely-knit, or what? It seems counter-intuitive is all. She's gotta have at least one deaf friend, and even if she didn't, you...

Re: Prevalence of other girls in the paths
I wouldn't doubt the possibility. It's still a school, and you're bound to bump into them.

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Maybe they met as kids and became friends then, and later Misha followed Shizune to Yamaku? Because when you think of it, it seems a bit unlikely for a loud person like Misha to be with someone who doesn't speak. True, their personalities might have just matched (both seem energetic), but there's a...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Going to the school for free is a tad odd also since it means that she is either being paid by Shizune's parents or else the school give out scholarships to people to come be translators. I'm probably picking at the idea too much, but I am more for Misha being the translator simply because she is v...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
I never said she was employed. What I do believe is that she might be attending the school free of charge in order to interpret for Shizune. That's just my view on it, though, I just really doubt the possibility of her having a disability.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
I really enjoyed this so far. Really interested in seeing the full game and how it all comes together. Hisao's thoughts and explanations are a problem though. Although it succeedes in being both descriptive and easy to understand, Hisao's inner thoughts sounds like a piece of poorly written fan-fic....

Re: Misha's disabillity?
I believe there is the possibility that Misha actually doesn't have any sort of disability. She might just be loud and obnoxious by nature, not necessarily because of any sort of mental disorder. She might be in the school as an interpreter of Shizune because she knows sign language and is the same ...

Re: If you *actually have* a physical disability, what is it?
Insanely nearsighted. I can only see anything clearly if it's 2-3 inches in front of my face. Anything beyond that is blurry, I can only see a general contour of objects and people at that point.
