Re: If you *actually have* a physical disability, what is it?
It's not me here this time, but my best friend just informed me this morning that he is going to go blind very soon. Some sort of medical emergency called "retinal detachment". This hurts, even though it's not about me. She is a painter, she is a gamer, she is an avid reader. Blindness mus...

Re: Rin Cosplay
You may be right, I didn't think about it. Perhaps it looked better "live". Still, those specific pictures... Somehow the expressions don't seem exactly right for me. It could be my problem, anyway.

Re: Rin Cosplay
Sexy, but (no offense of course, you did an awesome job) I think there is still a need to work on the expression. The expression is important, I believe.
Also, I am intrigued as to how you manage to do the arm thing.

Re: Experiment: Giving characters alternative disabilities
I think the only major difference between Aspie Lilly and the one we kow and love is that she would be stiffy-formal, rather than motherly-formal, possibly bitching back at Shizune or ignoring the tone of her body language. Being blind, I don't think she is really great at recognizing body language...

Re: Emi + Phantom limbs =
I always thought a Hisao/Emi romance could involve Hisao massaging Emi's legs, as there would be a legitimate medical reason (physical therapy) as well as being pleasant for both of them. "Spank my stumps, Hisao!" Oh it's there, right after that part where you "medically" rub al...

Re: Emi + Phantom limbs =
What about similar phenomena? People blind from birth who suddenly have some dream or hallucination with visual elements, because certain parts of the brain which are not connected to anything were accidentally stimulated? I am pretty sure I heard of it somewhere.(Note that this doesn't in any way m...

Re: Emi + Phantom limbs =
Is Rin capable of feeling phantom sensations in her arms? She never had any, after all.
I am not a doctor, though.

Re: Blooper Reel
Joker totally went to Yamaku before he joined the Alliance military.
Yes, Yamaku still exists in the 22nd century or whatever it is.
Because it's cool that way. This is why.

Also, Lilly as Saber. Think of it for a moment. The possibilities are endless.

This one is now having the dirtiest of thoughts about Hanako cosplaying as Rider or something. This crossover has opened the way to such beautiful and terrible things.

Re: Experiment: Giving characters alternative disabilities
Asperger's does not instantly equal antisocial (tiny personal peeve.) I'm not sure how much that would change her, especially keeping in mind that she went to a strict girl's school prior to Yamaku. My opinion is that she would make more of a conscious effort to be well mannered, since she would be...
