Re: Emi inspired running/workout

"Straight from the couch" is a key factor here, I guess. If you keep yourself in some minimal fitness, it could not be the case, but remember that some of us put a pair of sweatpants just after finishing Emi's route, so it's kind of a crash-course of not sitting on yo' ass for some. Like m...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I just got done with day one of that couch to 5k plan that was posted earlier in the thread. I'm exhausted. If you ran today, you can expect muscle ache tommorow (especially if you're straight from the couch, as I am), and a crisis during the next running. After that it's gonna be easier, so keep u...

Re: hisao's signing

Well, It's probably JSL, since Hisao doesn't do very well in English anyways. and also: and out of this a language just sort of happened which isn't related to any spoken language at all. Linguists, needless to say, love it. As far as I know, no natural sign language is related into it's spoken coun...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Hmmmm man, getting healthy can be hole in ur wallet Only if you let it to. You can workout without a dime if you want to. I won't argue about bike prices though, as I said - geographical considerations. I made the same mistake with my first one. Never again a cheap bike. Not a mistake in my case. I...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Biking is fun, but very expensive if you want a decent machine :( Stick to the indecent one, then. I bought my bike in a pawn shop for equivalent of 50 euro, together with a wall clock . So while Dunkelfalke's front fork is worth more than the car I ride, so some kind of cultural/geographical facto...

Re: POLL: Best Fashion Sense

Hanako with her hipster hat has no competition, at least in your poll, since you excluded Hisao, with his sweater vest, no good man, no good.

Re: KS Academic Conference Paper - Seeking Help

While being on the internet for quite some time, I cannot resist a suspicion of a great trolling in progress, I guess I can spill my guts a bit. If it's true, I hope you will link the results of your work. That's the least we can expect for revealing the shallow depths of our thoughts in this matter...

Re: Anyone else wonder what blindness from birth would be li

I think blind people associate color with feelings or situations, as green=nature, calm. And so on. Thats what I would do anyways. I always wonder why do it. Sure, I guess I would try to make some associations, but it would be a culture thing, to understand what I'm reading, or talking about. But t...

How about "Why are the drills gone?" (swagger drunkedly)?

Anyway, there's no way I could describe what it is in all the words I can type in a week, let alone one sentence.

Edit: After some thought I flagged a spoiler.

Re: Other disabilities games, movies, books?

There was some discussion here already, concerning games mainly. Feel free to look.
But games include mainly laser-eyes and cannon-limbs. Not really consistent with the genre.

I didn't, though it's pretty emotional piece.

Something bugs me though... Was Lily so jelous and mean to keep them apart? Didn't she know what happened? Did she want to keep him for herself? Just trying to fill a loophole here :P.

Re: Which Disability is worse?

If I remember there was something particularly bleak with the condition "Saki" (Might be wrong, not to sure about the name) suffers with. I think you hit the spot here. Not trying to diminish a hard condition of some disabled people, I think all the girls pretty much got away with it. The...

Re: "it's just a game"

There's a misunderstanding here, I just have to put right first. I'm the last one to say Katawa Shoujo is anything less, than a piece of electronic art. I just don't believe in "Just a game" being a derogatory term. Look, what I see is just a game, yet it has a power to make countless peopl...
