Re: Fan community nickname?

Katawans sounds pretty good. But on the other hand having a community nickname makes me think of bronies, and i don't want to be a brony. I'm a Brony deep inside. Those adorable little things are just so awesome. Yay! Anyway, having our distant roots on /b/, I guess want it or not, we're gonna have...

Re: Valid points that I do not understand

Looks like OP bailed out on us. Might feel intimidated by enraged fandom. I don't blame him.
Still can't see him trolling though.

Re: Nurse-kun's story (Damaged Goods)

VN's name is "Scarred". "Damaged Goods" was the name for the story itself, on Wikichan probably. Otherwise it is known by the /b/ given names of it's heroes: nurse-kun, or amputee-chan.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

By the way, here's my self built bike after modifications - new crank, new cassette, new €700 fork, new shifters, new chain I invested my money somewhat differently. Thermal underwear FTW! Sadly, I'm retaking week 2 right now, after skipping two runs ( work, work, as the orc's saying go ) and faili...

Re: Nurse-kun's story (Damaged Goods)

I wonder why nobody mentioned "Scarred" yet? It's a Damaged Goods story transcribed into a kind of visual novel. Not finished, no sprites, no plot choices whatsoever, and terminally on hiatus since 2008, but I always wondered how much Devs were inspired by this effort. Maybe even Raita rea...

The sadest ending? It's easy. The sadest one is the last one you get. After that there is nothing left... :(

Re: Valid points that I do not understand

I'm trying to express my inner confidence, that while it might appear that main target group of such a game are males, it can be compelling for those of the fairer persuasion. Since I have some experience being male, and none whatsoever being otherwise, I tried not to formulate my oppinions too defi...

Re: Valid points that I do not understand

It looks like someone walking into a trucker's diner, complaining to the bunch of Hell's Angels about reckless habits of bike drivers. Gentlemen. Let's leave the harpoons in the umbrella stand, and leave the conversation civil. And Rincewind, sir. You have my sympathy just for trying the game, while...

Yea but the bow in his hair is just full on effeminate.
Just to timid down a little his inherited manly magnetism.

Re: The Hard Sell (Convincing people to play this)

Ok. Two pieces of advice comes to my mind: 1) Realise, that KS is not an undispensable work of art . Keep your head cool. It is a great piece of multitrack fiction with really decent writing, simple and entertaining stories, and great emotional potential. But still, it has it's edges. Be aware of th...

Re: High tech gadgets for each girl

One test had a realistic looking fake placed right next a person's own arm and then obscured by a blanket so it was difficult to tell which was the real one. People reported sensory input from BOTH their own arm and the fake one. Not the case here. There was no neural input in this test, just brain...

Re: High tech gadgets for each girl

Hanako could use those Metal Gear Solid-like nanomanchinesd to restore her skin cells. She could also use a bipedal, mechanized, tactical nuke carrying system. Great way to make friends, really. And when talking about artificial limbs, fitting Rin with prostetics, will encounter the same difficulti...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I don't know about eating before. Guess we need someone more experienced to judge us on that. I run better on empty stomach, and any meal eaten up to four hours before makes me a bit uneasy. I tend to run after work, before eating dinner. Might be a personal thing though. And an advice for total beg...

Re: High tech gadgets for each girl

Too bad these are future concepts, like a flying car for everyone. I like the idea of 3D dislay for visually impaired the most.

And I did my time with Cyberpunk2020, so Hanako with a half-body animated neon-led tattoo (and a mono-katana) is just too much for me to handle.
