Re: KS: The Fighting Game
Shizune has been thoroughly established as the grappler and there aren't plans to sprite Misha yet. She is 6th on the list hypothetically.

Re: KS: The Fighting Game
I'll be completely honest, I really dig your style. It's rather unique, if I had to describe it, it's like watching action figures come to life. Somehow I think that's the impression they give to me. I think the frames are all splendorous as they are right now, I think that the beta could use like ...

Re: KS: The Fighting Game
As for the art I understand the feeling, but I think it's just pointless to fight it. If you release art on the internet, people will use it in their own wicked ways. There's just too many people out there to prevent this from happening. Also, anyone with an unzip will be able to get the resources ...

Yep . _.Beoran wrote:If we guess every frame takes around 1 hour to draw, then that's 200 hours per character... Almost a whole year if you draw one frame for 1 hour per day.
Our character resolution is roughly 300px tall. See examples here v and there >

Yeah, that's my sentiment as well. Everything will be finalized in 2D.blackmage62 wrote:Not to rain on the parade, but it is my opinion that 3D sprites would not look nearly as good as 2D sprites.

This...sounds..just to awesome! I wish there was something I could do to help but don't have the skillz needed:/ This project just looks awesome. If you need somebody who's good with words, count me in. Thanks guys. (: It's still motivating to hear there's interest! Majig, that's pretty interesting ...

Re: Would you play a "mental disability" VN similar to KS?
I'm not reading this thread too optimistically.. but I felt the same about the very first KS dev forum and they turned out alright. I think this project has a much higher potential for going wrong or being misinterpreted though. I would only play this if it explored a different, interesting ...

Re: KS: The Fighting Game
Thanks for the suggestion majig! I think we'll stick with Mugen though. Rumblah wouldn't really change our workflow since we don't sprite or animate natively in flash, and we have a few experienced Mugen programmers. Regarding supers, those are essentially still undecided. We have a few pages of ...

Aim for Emi of course, and then where ever the heck my random key punching like an orangutan on meth brings me. allofmywhy.jpg Naw, I kid, I kid. everyone has different tastes. If you don't mind me asking, what draws you to Emi? I'd like to weigh in on that. Emi and Shizune are at the top of ...

Re: Shizune's Path Direction Complete
Latest wordcount clocked in at more than 485 thousands - that's including all of Act 1 too, but still, it should give you an idea. Act 1 alone is very approximately 15-20% or so of the full game. For further comparison, Fate/Stay Night is ~800,000 words and Clannad is ~600,000 words. This is bodes ...
