I also have low vision, my nearsightedness suddenly began when I was 12 and became worse over the years until about 2006, where my prescribed glasses were -3.5 (L) and -3.75 (R). Since then, I have used glasses of the same corrective power, also, I am obliged by law to drive wearing my glasses. But ...

Re: Living with a broken heart
I would applaud this as a real part of the game's ending. Not only because happy endings are for little pussies, but that would hopefully get people to wake up and look at their own mortality. Spot on, this was EXACTLY what I was thinking as well! Why so sad? He lived what anybody gets. He got a li...

Re: Leaving the Past Behind
Nice chapter Extremist_line!
That outing/date/whatever went on so well, it was unusual to see Luke acting like that... but then it was understandable, if only he fought the temptation... anyways, I'm looking forward to see how Luke would deal with this situation/misunderstanding.

Good to see you Extremist_Line... looks like the wait for a new fic from you was definately worth it! I'd like to see how this alternate fic ends up relative to the original one... good job!

Well, regardless of whether they can do various things themselves or not, I'm sure a buddy system would still make life a bit easier. It's always nice when you've got somebody looking out for you, also. I agree, but in terms of daily activities, I think she can live alone almost without trouble (pr...

Buuut when I have to BEGIN to know someone... well, it's a disaster. I'm too scared to talk to anyone on a first meeting if I'm not with a friend and even if I AM with a friend, I'll mostly ignore the new met person just because of fright Damn... were you there when I met my friend? This is EXACTLY...

Hmmm... didn't give that a thought.. but I'm sure the KS artists will find a solution for that.Shades of Grey wrote:The second reason is that drawn backgrounds can be tailored to suit the needs of the situation, whereas finding a real location may be impractical or impossible.

Re: How well with KS stand up to the other great VN?
That's rather sad. I've never seen a school that didn't at least have a monthly case of hanky-panky on the tables. You'd think they'd accept it as a given. I know its sad... but honestly, I think its a sadder case when the lawyers start knocking on the photographers door. But before we deviate too ...

Re: How well with KS stand up to the other great VN?
The only problem would be to get photos of a school. I don't think many headmasters would give you the permission to take photos that are going to be used in a visual novel with sex scenes (that will, very likely, take place in the school). It could cause trouble with the parents of the students an...

Using a fanfic as an example of emotional development? Oh dear. The fanfic was an example that came off the top of my head, because I am a regular fanfic reader... anyways... I do agree with you, not all girls open up socially/emotionally regardless of how long you know them... but from my experien...

Re: Favorite girl.
Insecure girls are emotionally exhausting to be with IRL. For every lovey-dovey hour, there will be four where you're walking on eggshells trying to figure out how to get them to open up to you. After a while, you'll end up wondering why the hell you still try. I'm sure some people like that, mysel...
